Our room was perfect for our stay offering luxurious and comfortable accommodation and the breakfast on offer was superb. We booked the hotel as it was suggested it was an adults only place. Unfortunately on our second day two families with children arrived and were staying in the rooms below ours - this meant we were woken from our afternoon nap to the sound of...

"Very pretty country location. The rooms including common rooms were all lovely. The tiny bathrooms were cramped and windowless and let the property down. Breakfasts were lovely, with lots of choice. We didn’t have dinner there, as prices were over the top, compared with what we were paying in other locations on our trip around the UK. "

"Had a fantastic stay in the Edelweisse suite for part of our honeymoon tour of the lakes. Room was spotless and awesome. Fantastic facilities in the room, difficult to choose between hot tub or spa bath, so alternated between the two. Batj may have edged it due to TV! Comfortable bed and sofa. Breakfast was ordered the evening before and brought to our room, and was delicious!"
