"Loved everything about this hotel. From arriving at the gate house 5o departing 2 days later, we loved it. We will return. Great location, great service and great food, this really is a special place. If youre going to the Lake District, then this is the place to stay."

"Wonderful hotel, the facial at the spa was lovely and the pool was bit with a jacuzzi. Bed was very comfortable. Staff all very friendly and breakfast was delicious with lots of options"

"Lovely room with great views. Good location in town. Very nice staff. Nobody helped with the cases from the car on arrival. They need valet parking. Earlier check in than 4pm as most hotels are 3pm. Also most good hotels have Umbrellas at reception. The positives outweighed the negatives but room for improvement."
