"We have stayed at this hotel many times and always appreciate the friendly staff—Kelly, in particular, was especially helpful during our visit.
The breakfast was okay, though it feels like the quality has slipped a bit compared to past stays. It’s also worth noting that this location hosts quite a few events, so be prepared for the hotel to feel a bit taken over on occasion.
Our main issues were with the room comfort and maintenance. The air conditioner is wired to a motion sensor, meaning the room can get quite warm in the middle of the night when you aren't moving. More concerning, however, was that at 3:00 AM, the AC stopped cooling, began blowing stale air, and started emitting a distinct burning smell. Because we had a very long drive the next day and were placed at the very end of a long hallway (making us wonder if this room is rarely used), we chose to just turn the system off and try to sleep rather than deal with a room change or maintenance person at that hour.
We love the team here, but the AC units definitely need a maintenance check."
