“Not much sleep”
The room was clean, the hotel was clean, and the amenities were very nice but we had some serious problems that others in our party (8 others) experienced as well. The sheets and the mattress cover wrinkled, bunched up, and moved around on the bed all night. It was like sleeping on a bed that hadn't been made for a long time. The pillows felt like someone had run foam rubber through a blender on chop and then stuffed the pillow cases with this concoction. I wish I'd brought my own pillows. Then we had a problem that was only in our room -- the batteries were going dead in the smoke detector and we had to put up with the beeping and flashing. We didn't ask for another room because we knew the hotel was booked and it wouldn't have mattered anyway because upon checkout we were told that no one could have fixed it until Monday. As a whole the Holiday Inn Express was a clean, nice place to stay and we will probably book there again for next year but sure hope we don't have the same problems.

“Nice place in the middle of nowhere”
Despite the location (which is a slight distance from the heart of Danville), this hotel was relaxing. There wasn't much noise (obviously since it's away from everything). The room was clean and very inviting. The kids especially loved the pool. It's heated and comfortable. Then there was the hottub which was extremely comfortable and relaxing. I don't usually sleep very well in strange places but I was able to get a great nights sleep! Then in the morning, the breakfast that was offered was filling and got me through until lunch. Not the typical hotel breakfast and that is always a plus!
“Danville Holiday Inn”
The staff at the hotel was curtious. The breakfast was nice and plentiful. The pool and hot tub area was small but as advertised. The fitness center was also as expected. Overall, a nice stay.

We did not get there until 1:00 am and the staff was waiting for us....the next day the food was great, we had to leave my 9:00 am but everything in the room was great and the total hotel.....we will be staying there again.

Great staff, room, and complimentary breakfast. Just one hour from Parke County, IN where there are tons of covered bridges.
“best off the road in this little place”
A very clean and almost luxurious Holiday Inn Express. Beautiful lobby and breakfast room and extremely comfortable and almost luxurious room. It's near a prison (which seems strange) but in this cluster of off-the-exit hotels this is the best. Good breakfast, very nice service at desk & breakfast room. Great place.
