“Bad, bad, bad.”
We didn't even stay the night. It was awful.
“Don't Stay Here”
Okay let me start by saying my husband and I are not picking about where we stay after all a bed is a bed right? I've read reviews before and wondered if people weren't just being to picky but I'm telling you straight up don't stay here. It was listed under the Unpublished rate as a 2 star but if this is a 2 star hotel I hate to see a 1 star. The indoor pool & spa weren't operational because there wasn't any WATER in them. When we first walked into our room I was completely speechless. The carpet was filthy with huge stains, the curtains were torn at the top, the heat hadn't been turned on prior to our arrival and it took several hours to heat the room, bring your own alarm clock because one wasn't provided and the office didn't answer my repeated calls for a wake up request, there was an ironing board but no iron, there wasn't a mattress pad on the bed and believe me you don't want to look at the pillows or mattress, there was plenty of hot water alright but the shower only dribbled out, and best of all there was a huge and I do mean huge whole in the bathroom wall which was letting cold air in. You couldn't step on the bathroom floor barefooted, not that I tried, because the bathroom was so cold and it never warmed up. Do what you want but don't say I didn't warn you!

“Potential”
This is an old hotel with loads of potential. No restaurant, bar or outdoor pool at this time but the owners are renovating as they go. Breakfast is slim, bring your own shampoo, but for the price it was clean with hot water. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again.
“Never again!!”
Staff and owner were nice and tried to be helpful,but you can't fix broken. The bar brought very unpleasant people to the hotel and parking lot. At 12am the party in the parking lot was very loud and scary! At 1am the police were called to the parking lot. At 2am last call at the bar then the party in the parking lot became a burnout contest and beer bottle breaking contest. We were surprised to see our vehicle in the parking lot unharmed the next morning. We will never stay there again!!!
“Nice Place”
We had to go to Danville for a funeral. It was a very sad time for our family but I will have to say, that at the end of each day, it was a nice place to retreat from the trauma of this most unexpected event. Thanks to The Danville Inn and Convention Center for helping us get through a tuff time with a relaxing, clean and serene place to stay.
