“Beautiful English heritage!”
Overall it was very nice stay indeed. Only negative things were the internet and the access to the main garden. I was told that I would find train time table by myself using the business station with one PC, when I asked at the reception. But The password was needed and even the staff couldn't unlock. Basically I wasted some precious time just before the departure for nothing. I could have made an earlier train. The garden is amazingly beautiful, but the doors to the garden were not used and you only can go there, going out from the other side of the building and walk around the hotel. It was very cold and raining hard at the times. I hope to visit there again in warmer season.
“We Loved it here and will be going back”
This Hotel was recommended to me by a friend and I booked it as a surprise for my Husbands Birthday. Our stay here was just wonderful, the Staff were all really pleasant and helpful, the Hotel is amazing and the grounds are stunning, it was like stepping back in time - my Husband loved it and we will be going back as we would like to go to the 'Medieval Banquet'. The afternoon tea in the beautiful conservatory was great - the best scones we have tasted by far.
