“A very good hotel for a stay in Olbia”
We booked this hotel as we were due to arrive late and wanted something near the airport. It turned out to be a good choice and we would happily have stayed longer but had other travel plans already in place. The staff were excellent, expecially the reception personnel who were exceptionally helpful. We arrived after the restuarant had closed but they rang through and organised for us to have a late meal. The food and service were faultless and very reasonably priced. In fact, all of the hotels that we stayed in for our 7 nights in Sardinia served excellent food that was surprisingly good value, even when compared with the usual restaurant. that tourists would choose. One final point, the hotel is actually only a short walk from the main town area and seafront - probably 5-10 minutes at a gentle pace.

The front desk staff is excellent. Really helpful and kind. The food in the restaurant is the best in Olbai and surrounding area. The service is also very good. I stayed in the Mecurie in Sapporo and found the hotel to be of excellent value and I am please to say that the one in Olbia is just as good. Surrounding area is not so good but the location is rather central.

Good hotel with staff that were very helpful. Excellent restaurant with ample menu Liked the fact that the staff were prepared to humour our attempts at Italian - rather than just switch to English because it would have been easier for them. Not a particularly nice location but easy to get on open road and the brilliant countryside views.
“Stylish hotel that delivers quality service”
A quirky hotel in the centre of Olbia - with an emormously spacious room and fantastically helpful staff at reception, housekeeping and in the restaurant. An excellent breakfast was included in our room rate, and I got the quiet room I requested. The bathroom was large, with great water pressure in the shower. The mini bar was well stocked with essentials. The decor of the hotel was unique, modern and stylish. One cannot say it was anodyne - infact it was great to see local, original modern art displayed in public areas.This was my first visit to Sardinia and Olbia is a great base for travel. The Mecure is well positioned to access trains, buses and cross-island coaches and excellent value for money. Staff and locals generally were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who wants global brand quality but a touch of individualism. The hotel appeals to all ages but had variable levels of accessibility for those with limited mobility or who are differently abled (e.g. in the reception area there are steps up to the general lobby). Well worth a visit for a particularly warm and uniquely Sardinian welcome.
