“handy for Olbia Airport”

This hotel is a very easy 10 minute drive from Olbia airport so great for a first or last night. The hotel is very attractive with beautiful pool and grounds. there is a substantial breakfast buffet and all the staff are very friendly and helpful. It is a popular wedding venue which meant there was a lot of loud music till 11pm on both our Saturday night stays but management gave a free bottle of house wine in room as apology. Perhaps best to check if a wedding is on before booking.

“What a lovely Hotel”

Just returned from a week away to the Hotel Speraesole. It is a newish hotel and as a result the buliding is immaculate. The rooms are spotless and a decent size the balcony we had was huge and overlooked the gardens & pool. The bathroom was stunning and again spotless. We went on BB basis and the breakfast was lovely we ate one night in the hotel and the standard of food ws very high. If you stay at this hotel it is essential to hire a car which we did at the airport. The hotel is about 15min drive from La cinta which in my opinion was the best beach in this part of Sardinia. It is close to the airport which was very convenient and you can't hear any plane noise at all. Fab place would highly recommend it!

“Nicest staff I've ever met”

This is a lovely hotel, clean and comfortable. We had a family room overlooking the pool and landscape which was great. Nice and quiet too which was ideal for us. The staff where very helpful and always accommodated our needs and requests. The beach shuttle bus is great and is free. The driver also drove us to nearby resorts at a reduced cost. The breakfast buffet also was excellent. If you do stay here, please consider the location, it's a bit isolated. We did not have a car and felt a little stranded. A car is a must for this location. However, there where a handful of nice restaurants nearby which offered a nice selection of food.

“Hotel Speraesole”

The hotel was very nice, with helpful staff that find nothing too much trouble. Our view from our balcony of the pool, gardens and islands out at sea was really relaxing. Breakfast was good with lots of choice. The buses were the worst thing as they were both VERY infrequent and unreliable. There are lots of great things to see within a 5-10 min drive (so near but seeming so far using public transport). A car definitely would make getting around far less stressful. We liked both of the nearby beaches, Porto Istana was beautiful and a pleasant 40 min walk. Marina Maria was much smaller, with not such nice sand but a wilder beautiful view, 15 min walk. We did not use the hotel restaurant but the restaurants in Murta Maria were well priced and good, turn LEFT from the hotel and walk towards the crossroads. The waitress at La Pergola was very chatty and pleasant, she is keen to improve her English. I would like to go back again, but with a car as taxi prices are silly.

“Nice Hotel, Nice staff, Lovely food!”

Make sure to take the plane to OLBIA! its a long drive to the hotel from the other airport. Renting a car is a must, also not much to do in the off season.

“Nice setting, good food.”

Stayed just for a night as hotel close to airport. Quite stylish (and Spanish) appearance but right on the road with a complex layout. Good reception and very clean with nice pool and grass garden area. Sunbeds and cabanas provided but sun beds few and in very poor condition - odd for an otherwise smart hotel. About 1km from beach along dusty track - long walk - and not too much parking but beach simple and undeveloped and popular with wind surfers and fishermen. Nice setting if you prefer quiet. Room very good and clean, BBC World on TV if you want that sort of thing! Bed comfy, but AC a little noisy. Good balcony, some rooms overlooking pool with good views - have one of those if you are staying for a few nights. Evening meal around inner courtyard was excellent in a lovely setting but not cheap (not helped by the Euro rate!!) and breakfast good too. On site cafe bar had nice cakes etc - not too common in Sardinia. Very handy for airport (10 mins) and quiet despite being on main road - would stay again but not for a long holiday.

“Better than first appearances”

The hotel at first impressions is a bit dated.The road is busy and the reception area is dark and dated. However, it constantly improves as you get further into the hotel and the views at the back of the hotel are faboulous. The breakfast has great choices just toomany tempting sugary delights! The local beach 5 minutes by car is stunning as is the scenery near Capo di Coda a nature reserve with amazing islands. All in all a great location for the airport, shopping in Olbia and local scenery. The room was spotless and well maintained. Reception staff were helpfull with local areas etc. However, no sign of the kids club despite being high season so don't expect this also the pool had set opening times from 9am etc.

“Great value.”

The hotel was very convenient for Olbia airport and close to some excellent beaches. Breakfast was varied and well presented and in very pleasant dining area. Several good restaurants are within a ten minute walk of the hotel. The immediate area of Maria Murta is obviously undergoing major development but did not affect our 3 night stay which was excellent value for money.

“Lovely Hotel, Definatley need a Car to get about.”

The Hotel was great and the Staff were wonderful, our room was in very good condition but was situated next to the restaurant which most evenings played music and on some evenings had a live band playing til 11.30, which is not good when you have small children. The pool was lovely and was never busy even in mid Aug but it does need repainting on the floor of the pool. Would definately go again but would need to hire a car for the whole time as the bus service was very unreliable !! and there was only a few resturants in walking distance of the hotel.
