“Excellent value”
Lovely hotel, good facilities and location and very reasonably priced this time of the year.
“Lovely hotel in an ideal location for us to explore both the North & North East coasts of Sardinia”
Clean, modern and spacious rooms, great pool well kept with plenty of sun loungers to go around. Breakfast is simple, get their early to avoid lack of choice. Plenty of parking. Near a great value and local restaurant-which serves up fresh tasty food. Would definitely go back.
“Very good price for a clean, friendly hotel”
Totally satisfied by our stay. Having a car is a must - easy drive to Teresa di Gallura and Costa Verde's great beaches!!
“Middle of Nowhere”
The hotel / apartment was satisfactory but it is up a mountain and there is no restaurant within walking distance. A car is essential. The bar prices are extremely high e.g. can of coke 3.5 euro whereas supermarket price was 0.80 euro and restaurant prices in town was 2.5 euro. Staff very helpful but could have had more leaflets readily available showing local tourist attractions / boat trips. I would be happy to go back to Sardinia but would choose a location that was closer to a town.
“Good value hotel in quiet location”
June/July 2008 This hotel is situated on the side of a hill in the quiet village of San Pasquale. Apart from the catering at the hotel the village has one other restaurant which is a pizzeria. Food at both of these is good if somewhat limited in choice with the pizzeria being slightly better in terms of value for money and quality. There are two small grocery stores and that's about it. There are some other restaurants scattered off the road side, but a car is essential as the village is somewhat isolated. From the hotel you get a good view of the coast in one direction and hilly countryside in the other. The facilities at the hotel are good, with an indoor and outdoor pool, a small gym, tennis court, table tennis and table football and covered car park. There is a small bar area which was quiet but pleasant. The hotel staff as a whole were polite and helpful without being overfriendly or pushy.It is advisable to learn a few words of Italian as the staff speak some English but are by no means fluent which applies to most of the places we visited. The room we were in was spacious and comfortable but storage space was a bit limited. There was no bath or kettle which would have been nice, and the room was right behind reception and there was some noise from them in the night. Overal this hotel is good value for money as a base for exploring the North East of Sardinia.
“Very Basic Accomodation”
Hotel pool was great and view from pool over surrounding hills lovely BUT scrubby building work, cranes,piles of crates etc all over back area of appartment rooms. Not a view we wanted to spend any time looking at from our balcony. We were in an 'apartment room' supposedly self catering but had only a hob and NO COOKER! The room was clean but very basic the childrens beds were a bunk made from the sofa which was locked and impossible to convert back in the day time....consequently we had no sofa, only kitchen chairs to sit on. Sardinia itself was interesting and we had 2 great weeks weatherwise but the accomodation was a big disappointment
“Definitely not a 4* Hotel”
Not a bad hotel, but do not go expecting a 4-star. The rooms are extremely basic and not that well-maintained (we found a long hair in our bed on arrival; TV was broken; etc). Location is in the middle of nowhere (which was fine for us bc we had rented a car). The decor was something you'd expect to see in a hospital or care facility. On the plus side, the pool is huge and breakfast was included in the rate. We never used the pool as we drove to nearby beaches instead; however, it was well-presented (and probably the only 4-star aspect of this hotel). The staff were friendly and accomodating, but it is unfortunately not a hotel I'd recommend.
