"The Claredon shows its age for sure but that is to be expected... however, it is in a fantastic location location ! It is very basic, but has everything you need. I would not recommend if you have a hard time with stairs as there is no lift. All in all..it was all good. "

"At breakfast I had a table in the corner next to the window on the front. There were a number of ants on the window ledge. I reported it to reception after breakfast who were very apologetic and concerned and advised that a pest exterminator was coming in the next few days. Otherwise all was good. I had a single room with sea view and bed was a little small (maybe not used to single beds) and whilst the sea view was excellent it was through a rather small window."
