“Great hotel in perfect location.”

Fantastic hotel in a great location. Easy stroll to all attractions within Chiang Mai. Staff at both reception and tour desk extremely helpful. A bit of trouble obtaining WiFi connections in room. Also, the pool (which was a selling point when we booked) was closed for renovations. However, I believe that it was actually just closed for the low season as no maintenance appeared to be happening. Whilst this is fine and did not upset our stay, it would be good to mention it on the hotel's amenities list if this is the case.

“Solo female traveller”

This hotel was GREAT! as a solo traveller they made the effort to make me feel at home. They were ALWAYS helpful, and went out of their way to help me - often giving me free maps and recommendations. (I was going to go to the night bazaar but they suggested the walking markets, as they were only on that night, where as the bazaar is every night). This hotel is also extremely close to everything. Walking distance to thapae gate, night bazaar, love at first bite bakery and many others. Highly recommended! The pool is small, but fine for a quick splash and room to sunbake :D

“Good Value”

A bit far from old town and not too many restaurants right around the hotel but very close to the night market. Modern, simple design, I loved the orange concrete floors. Breakfast is basic. Friendly staff. Make sure to bring along a copy of your itinerary, they don't seem to have the prepaid arrangements quite dialed into their system yet.. No water one morning for a few hours but apparently it was the whole neighborhood.,

“Would come back again”

I arrived a couple of hours before the check-in time, fortunately the staff was really nice and got my room shortly after. The service was good too, no problems with receiving wifi password, the breakfast was good. My toilet clogged and they came up quite quickly and fixed the problem. It looks clean at a glance but my only problem was the washroom that needed some extra cleaning and attention time.

“Clean but not too friendly”

Clean, nice hotel, clean rooms. 2 years ago the staff were super friendly and nice. This time around staff seem unhappy and detached, they don't even look up as you walk through the lobby, after staying 5 days when I asked for 1 more night from the desk they didn't even know I was already a guest. A smile and a hello is all it would take to make this hotel 5/5. I'd stay there again because it's cheap, clean, and close to the night bazaar and Tha Pae gate.

“Great location”

The location of this hotel was perfect for us. So close to the night markets, and the amazing Sunday markets. Plenty of bars and eating places around and it was easy to get a taxi to any destination. It was not far to travel to places like Tiger Kingdom or the Zoo. Our only "gripe" was that the beds were so hard that they were difficult to sleep on, however the actual room itself was functional and had everything we needed.

“Good, clean budget hotel”

This is a nice hotel, clean and quiet, but very basic. It reminds me a bit of a hostel. We had a room with a city view, which actually meant that our balcony opened up to the wall of building next door. The beds are hard (as in all of Thailand, it seems), but the staff at the tour desk are wonderful! They set us up with some really great day trips, and are super friendly and helpful! Don't miss out on the free breakfast that's offered at the hotel, it totally makes up for the simple rooms. There is a buffet with both western and Thai dishes and an omelet bar, and a great view of the city (especially at sunrise). The pool is very small, but clean and a nice spot to catch some sun. The hotel is close to the night market (a 5 minute walk). Overall I'd say this is a good budget hotel, great if you're planning on being out and about all day.
