“Loved our experience”

Celebrated my partners birthday here and it was our first time in Thailand. The overall experience was the very best. The hotel from the outside in impressed us from beginning to end. The room was simply perfect with beautiful interiors and great layout and space. The bed was divine with extremely soft cotton sheets. Robe and slippers provided were of best quality. And to top the visual aspect, the view was absolutely stunning. The hotel staff added to the experience. They were very friendly and prompt with any requests. They were so kind to surprise us with a complementary birthday cake which we discovered after a day out and about. This made my partners day and it tasted ever so good. We loved it here for many reasons. For all the above mentioned as well as great location and convenience. We loved our experience here and we most definitely would come back and highly recommend this hotel. The pictures you see is what you get.

“Fabulous Hotel, Fabulous Location”

A friend and I went to Chiang Mai for the long weekend. when we checked in, they told us that only king rooms were available (we'd requested a twin), but the upgraded us to a bigger room. We also requested a late checkout which they gave us. Overall, hotel was great. Very cool decor, very comfortable beds, great location (right across the road from the night market). we had quite a few spa treatments too, and the girls there were also fabulous. Breakfast was good, but too busy - queues for eggs were quite long and a lot of things were empty. I would definatley stay at le meridien Chaing Mai again.

“a gem hotel in Chiang Mai”

Hotel is within a few minutes walking distance to a night market. A trip to the old city is a short tuk tuk ride away. They serve excellent breakfast which will be hard to beat by other 5 star hotels. But make sure your hotel rate includes the breakfast otherwise it's $20 per person.

“Exceptional stay at LeMeridien Chaing Mai, Thailand”

This hotel is new, modern, clean, and walking distance from everything in town including the old city. It's right out the front door to the daily night market.

“Would definitely recommend”

Really good hotel - some of the service was a bit random (eg trying to clean my room at 8am on Sunday morning - I'm supposed to be on holiday!!) but the staff are very friendly and the hotel is very nice. Would definitely recommend it to people visiting Chiang Mai.

“Very impressed.”

I found the hotel to be clean, comfortable and the staff were extremely helpful. I stayed for a week and it was my home away from home! My room was beautiful with a lovely view. The location right in the middle of the night market was great.

“Hi-So Hotel in downtown Chiang Mai”

In Thailand, the locals use 'Hi-So' (short for High Society) to describe someone or something that is really fancy. The Le Meridien in Chiang Mai is definitely Hi-So. Very nice. The room was super, with a window between the bathroom and the main room, so you can take in the outside view from the bathtub. Everything was very clean. The pool is on the fourth floor, and is one of those endless pool types, so it looks like you are swimming right up to the edge of the building. I don't think it is heated, but on a hot day (and I think they are all pretty hot in Thailand) the cool water feels great. The gym is also on the fourth floor, right next to the pool, and it has a good selection of weight machines, free weights, and treadmills/ellipticals/stationary bikes. The price is higher than many, but the experience was worth it. It was a particularly nice respite after spending a few nights roughing it in the jungle. :)
