This was to us a fantastic place to stay, Norleen and Bert the owners are the friendliest people plus their adorable dog, they go out of there way to make your stay as pleasant as possible, if we are ever back in lake George this will be our go to place, the cabin is small but spotless and the bed is so comfortable!! there is nothing bad to say about Pine Tree Motel!! A plus too they have bbq area around the back and a campfire and children play area, it’s a A in my book!!!

We were in end room so we heard lots of traffic but otherwise it was quiet and comfortable. All the special touches around the grounds were very nice.

Cute Cabins
Cute, little cabins. Friendly, helpful staff. The bed was very soft, and the shower was very small. There was a seating area outside of the cabin and a place to make S’mores outside.

A friend and I stayed 2 nights. The beds were comfy, the rooms are super clean and just the right amount of rustic decor. The rooms have window units that work great. Unlike the chain hotels, ours was cleaned while we were out. I got the pleasure of meeting Noreen, the owner and her husband. They were so nice and accommodating and have great suggestions for things to see and where to eat in the area. They put out coffee every morning at 7. The grounds are lovely, and I would definitely stay here again.

The little cottage was very cute, comfortable and loved the porch. I was very impressed on how clean it was. No musty smells! Decor was fresh and cozy. Bed was very comfortable. Thank you for the TV. At check-out we had a nice up of coffee. We plan to visit again..

It’s our 2nd time staying here at the pine tree and we had a great time as always!! The tiny cabin gives you that Adirondack mountains, rustic feel living and what we were looking for. We loved!! The owner Mr. Bert was very friendly and welcoming.. This is the place to relax and unwind. The fire pit was such a hit!! My son had a great time, jMr. Bert was so kind, he even offered us marshmallows to make s’more. I highly recommend this place and we can’t wait to go back! Thank you for making our stay worth while..

Cozy and Cute lodgings.
Cozy, cute and clean lodgings. Owner was super friendly and beds were comfy. My daughter and I stayed here for a quick overnight. It’s conveniently located and set back off of Rt 8 in Chestertown. We had a quiet and restful stay.

Owners are really very nice and helpful people and having a golden heart. They did everything to make our stay pleasant. They provided fire pit as a bonus. Room was little smelly. But their hospitality was great.

Lovely small cabins! Very comfortable. Great back area that we didn't use as we were only there for one night, but the firepit was great plus lots of area for small kids to play and easily be kept an eye on. Would definitely stay again!

Lovely, peaceful lodging . Perfect for a rustic getaway. Norleen and her friendly dog “Pierce” greeted us warmly upon arrival, and promptly built a good bonfire in the fire pit as soon as we were checked in. She could not have made us feel more welcome. A hot shower was the only thing lacking. The water in our shower never went beyond lukewarm. Aside from that, no complaints: our room was super clean and comfortable with homey touches and all the necessary amenities. Would definitely recommend.

We had a nice and quiet weekend up here.. the room was clean and that Adirondack feels. The fire pit was a bonus.. we can’t wait to be back again, hoping we can stay one of that tiny houses next time. In case you were wondering, Check-in was pretty straightforward and fast —plus the owner are very friendly.

Nice quiet getaway
Good location, especially in this day of Covid and social distancing. Close to multiple lakes: Lake Loon, Schroon. 15 miles or so drive to Lake George and Walton Landing. Pet friendly .. nice property to walk the dog. Great Firepit for late evenings and watching the stars.
