“best price”

the super 8 in champaign was extra cheap but very very nice, free breakfast in a screened in porch. newly redone bathrooms with very nice showers. the bed was as comfy as any hotel. the only thing i would say is that the air conditioner unit was a piece of junk, but it still worked. the hotel is also less than ten minutes away from illinois' campus, and right next to a large mall.

“Great experience”

My family came to town on personal business and all of us thought that this was one of the best hotels in the area. We have stayed in several other hotels in the Champaign/Urbana area and this was by far the best. The hotel staff was absolutely the friendliest, most accomodating staff. I have travelled a lot and rarely felt so welcome. The welcome call soon after check-in was a pleasant surprise. The continental breakfast was just right; a nice array of muffins, cereal, fresh fruit and coffee. I expect to need to return to town again occasionally and know that I won't need to consider any other option when looking for a hotel. Thank you to all.

“Completely satisfied”

I stayed at the Super 8 for a few nights on business. It was quiet at night and in the mornings, when I was there, and the breakfast was acceptable. A friend was in town at the same time, but stayed at a different hotel. While she spent $5 or so less each night for her room, she had a bad experience at her hotel. I would unhesitatingly plan to stay at the Super 8 again.

I chose this hotel on the basis of positive reviews. My experience bore them out. The place was basic, but clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay there again.

excellent hotel accomdations for a university town. close to dining, shopping, nite life; all this plus a great staff. the coffee is always fresh.

Overall, I had a good experience. A great deal for the price. The room was clean and had a nice big flat screen TV. The hotel is conveniently located near restaurants and shopping centers. My only qualm was that the front door to the lobby made a loud ping noise every time it opened. With my room positioned nearby, I could detect when people entered late at night. I enjoyed the friendly desk clerk who worked the graveyard shift named John. He was very friendly and remembered my name, greeting me every time I entered. Booking through Expedia, I had made a mistake and booked one day shorter than I actually stayed. Not realizing this until I came back into the hotel late of my supposed check out day, I was charged an additional day.

Have stayed there 3 times. VERY friendly and helpful staff. Hotel located right next to Za's, a wonderful Italian restaurant, and the Market Place Mall. A definite bargain for traveler's staying one or multiple nights... extremely affordable.
