“Room for improvement”

The reception was adequate as was the room. The restaurant however was totally inadequate. The last time I stayed at the hotel (2yrs ago) I ended up with a half frozen lamb shank. This year I had a VERY long wait (the room was busy and understaffed),for my TOUGH faux fillet and a few chips, with no attempt to provide any veg or salad.

“Poor customer service”

Staff not helpful. I didn't notice the english symbol on the waitress's badge which meant she spoke english - she let me struggle until finally she spoke to me in english. After the meal I asked for an engish tea to be served in the lounge area, which she fully understood. I waited half an hour and then asked another member of staff. Despite two requests I still did not get the tea. They either didn't like the english or their customer service was very poor. Tip - if you want a medium steak ask for it to be well done. I asked for medium and it was rare.
