“just what I hoped for”
I arrived at the hotel with a smile on my face, it was just what I had hoped for. I have seen the hotel when booking previous stays in this area. This time it I was here with out the family so stayed in this interesting old Château with my husband. The château is just like the photographs, the room was pleasant, the en-suit was big. We had dinner in the huge dinning hall next to the enormous fire place with a fire blazing away, they had a set price menu with interesting food on offer, my husband was amazed when three of his courses arrived on slates. Breakfast in the morning was set out to eat in the large dinning room. I found the place welcoming and comfortable

We really enjoyed our night's stay at this hotel. Our room was just perfect. The beautiful views over the surrounding countryside was made even better with the hot air balloons! Our only regret was that we had just the one night and had to be off very early next morning to our next destination. Next time we will stay longer.
“pleasantly surprised”
we usually stop over on our way to skiing near chambery. in the past we have been dissapointed with our choice of hotels. not this time, beautiful chateau, fantastic 6 course meal at 25 to 38 euros, and descent rooms.thoroughly recommended.
“A treat worth keeping some holiday money for”
This was a beautiful peaceful place to stay on the last night of our holiday. Amazing, grand setting, but relaxing, very comfortable. Staff made us feel welcome right away and were charming. Meal (costs extra) was delicious completely catering to special request (lactose free) with the choices all explained in English!
“A lovely hotel in a beautiful part of France”
We enjoyed two nights at this beautiful hotel. The room was very comfortable. The only downside was that the fan in the bathroom wasn't working very well so the floor got a bit slippery from the steam after two people having a shower. The food at dinner was delicious and beautifully presented. The weekday evening set menu choice was particularly good value at €26 or €29. We would certainly recommend this hotel to our friends and family and would go back again.
“Lovely views, very relaxing!”
The hotel itself is an actual chateau with beautiful views of the alps. The hotel is very comfortable and charming, exactly what you need in an alpine retreat, even in the summer. The staff were also very friendly. Location wise a car is useful as its in a fairly small town but there are some shops and restaurants near by. The restaurant at the hotel is interesting. The evening menu is for 4 courses. The service was excellent and the food was generally very good if not a little over zealous and complicated. Try the strawberry and basil dessert and see what you think! Overall, I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a quiet place to relax.
