“Excellent for the price”
We're a couple from Miami in our late-twenties and we had a great stay at this hotel. Nothing to complain about here.
“Would go back”
The hotel was good, a little out of the way however it is a great location if you rent a car. The service was 100% and everything was great.
“Good, but out of the way”
We used this as a cheap hotel for the night prior to our departure from Barcelona. (We had a car and a GPS navigator, so we didn't need to be close to the airport.) It was actually better than we expected - modern building, relatively new, well-kept, and well run. Room and bed were both very ample; bathroom spotless and modern. Only negative comment was that we arrived at night and left early in the AM (still dark), and the neighborhood looked slightly seedy. That opinion might change if we had seen it in the daytime.
“Nice place, but far from Barcelona”
This is in a suburb of Barcelona, I picked it because it was a cheap 4 star hotel. It is a very nice hotel, I had no complaints about the room or the service. The surrounding area is a nice little town to walk around, I enjoyed it a lot.
“nice place it you are passing through”
the pool was drained and the sauna was not working. the bathrooms in the gymnasium were locked. internet in the hotel room was very expensive. great restaurant. good parking. nice to be out of city so you do not have deal with the traffic.
“A good, clean hotel with parking an hour from Barcelona centre.”
I chose this hotel because it had parking and was on the outskirts of Barcelona, which would save me driving through the traffic and paying silly parking charges. The rooms were clean, but a little tired. However, for the money I was more than happy and the staff were extremely helpful. The Cerdonyola area was very quiet and had some nice local bars and small restaurants - I didn't feel threatened in any way when walking to the Metro station at all hours of the day. The walk to the Metro station is around 25mins although there is a bus that runs every 20mins (not that I ever found a schedule or saw the bus actually stop near the hotel). From the Cerdanyola station it's about a 30 minute Metro ride to the centre of Barcelona (La Rambla area). Buy a T10 ticket for the best deal. The last train back from the city is just before midnight, but there are 2 night buses that leave from Catalunya Plaza - the N62 and N64 - that will get you back to the Cerdanyola Metro station. They start at 1am and leave every hour on the hour - your metro ticket can be used. I hope that helps and enjoy!
“nice hotel shame about the location”
really enjoyed the brief stay at this hotel, nice friendly staff, hotel had a nice atmoshere and looked lovely. few problems:-we arrived late in th evening and after settling in went in search for something to eat however the service had finished for the evening and there was no way of ordering anything in externally, no coffee or tea making facilities in the room also meant that we were unable to have a hot drink upon arrival. hotel would best serve those away on business as it was far from the centre therefore nnot perfect for anyone on vacation
“Comfortable and clean, but poor location for tourists”
The hotel is nicely decorated and clean and the staff all speak good english. However it is someway out of the town centre and there was a lot of noise from the building work on the neighbouring site. Also there was never any hot water after 10am. Overall a satisfactory stay but due to the location I would not suggest this hotel for tourists visiting Barcelona.
“Good Service, Poor maintnance”
The Bathroom was not clean, soap scum and mildew in the shower, bed was very uncomfortable,
“Tired hotel in very Spanish area”
The Hotel was clean and modern, however has had little investment for the last few years. Mini bar didn't work, Restauraunt menu was limited, pool area scruffy. 20 minute walk to nearest bars/shops. Some staff unhelpfull!
