“Internet sucks !!!”

Hotel is conveniently located facing the Mactan airport, and prices are affordable, but Internet sucks and is a total nightmare in the rooms. And in the Lobby, you need to get a pasword, which most of the time has been already used by another customer, so you can't log into the net. Don't book if you need internet. The rest is fine. Nice pool, pool, friendly staff, rooms okay.

None. Rivers and sea is used as sewer. Sooooo dirty !!!

“Injured by lose shower head”

I have stayed numerous times at this place and never had a reason to complain. This time I stayed several times in their "Executive suite" The first night I saw that the previous guest had put some tape around the shower head and written a warning on it. I reported this to the reception and they promised that their "Engineering Department" would take care of it. The next day the steel shower head popped off and hit me on my head like a projectile. It still had the tape with the warning from the previous guest and I tried to talk to the manager to find out why my complaint was ignored. The manager was always unavailable and I never got an answer to my question. On the other side this is a very nice hotel with a nice breakfast and dinner buffet. I like the stylish decoration and the atmosphere. My flight was at 2 am in the morning and since this place is just across the street I was able to check in at 10 pm, get a boarding pass and go back to my room for another nap.

“Extremely convenient for the airport”

Except for getting a little tired, with ancient televisions, rotten cable reception, and a horrible view, this hotel delivers what is intended, which is a convenient location for the airport. It is comfortable, decently priced, and courteously staffed. The casino isn't much, but its the place to stay to fit in with a tight flight schedule.

“acceptable”

Location was very convenient to airport (with in walking distance, The staff was very freindly during our visit. The resturant prices was some what expensive compared to others in the area, however the service was excellent. Room was suitable, but a little outdated. Overall we were satisfied.

“Noisy Next Door”

I have reserved the biggest room with kitchen and living room for 3 ppl. The room was very big and nice, i especially loved bathroom, but we needed to enter bedroom before going in the bathroom and there was no door for bathroom. In addition, the bedroom was connected with the nextdoor thru one door, and i could hear shouts and conversations from nextdoor till late at night. That was very annoying.

“Aging Hotel in Serious Need of Renovation”

The staff is pleasant and accomodating and I actually stayed at this hotel for 3 weeks in 2010. During all of my stays, there was a lack of towels after room cleaning. I needed to make several calls to the front desk to get towels delivered. Room serivce was spotty with parts of orders missing, plus order portions varied widely for the same item. The in-room refrigerator needs replacement as it couldn't keep anything cold. Requests for repairs got me a maintenance "engineer" that claimed the refrigerator cold not keep things cold because there were too many drinks inside (ridiculous). Breakfast buffet on the 1st morning (9 am) revealed most food trays completely empty. For a buffet that seats over 100 people, it was shocking to find empty platters. Other days, the platters were well filled. Service and quality of food is mediocre at best. Overall, the hotel location remains a draw to me, but the hotel facilities need a serious renovation.

“" What a disappointment!"”

I picked this hotel due to it's proximity to the airport. That's exactly what I got, nothing else. The room assigned to us was a smoking room even though I specifically requested for a non-smoking room. There was no towel inside the room and all of the furnitures were old. I was supposed to have a suite but there was not even a refregirator inside the room. We tried the restaurant maybe 4 times and all times tables were not ready. We had to sit to a used table and wait till they clean it up. The waiters are nowhere to be found when you need them. They were all camping at the register as if they were afraid to be called for service. No matter what time you go in for breakfast food trays were almost empty, and no body looks at the buffet line to see if the trays needs to be replenished. I will never go back to this hotel, and my suggestion is for them to fully renovate the place before they cater to tourist.

“Older hotel with pleasant staff”

After staying at this hotel for 2 weeks, I'd have to say that the rooms are well equipped, but that it's easy to see this hotel has passed the time when it should be refurbished. The staff was very helpful and courteous. Room service was spotty though. At times part of the meal would be missing or the cook would not thoroughly prepare the meal. The breakfast buffet was good though. Internet service was a bit spotty and slow. Overall I'd recommend the hotel to those initially arriving or even before leaving Cebu. I thought the value was in it's location across from the airport terminal. I never heard any plane noise though. The hotel was quiet and restful. The Korean restaurant at the hotel was quite horrible though. After working in Korea, I found that I could not choke down the poor quality food I was served in the restaurant. Waitresses seemed oblivious to the quality of the food and customers alike. I was their only customer and somehow they ignored me. Getting a napkin was a major event. Getting food that tasted good was impossible.

Area recommendations

There's a Savemore Grocery store very close to the hotel that can supply foreigner food items. Also, access to SM Mall is convenient using a metered taxi.
