"We were only there for the night. Unfortunately someone had backed into the parking space infront of our room and when they left there was a faint odor of exhaust. The grounds were clean and the room was ok but the carpet felt like sand or gritty when you walked barefoot. All in all it was good."

"I loved the staff that checked me in, but the man on night staff was rude. I even heard him talking to one of the cleaning staff and he was degrading. That's not acceptable in my book. Markleeville has creature comforts, so don't worry if you forget some staple items. Grover Hot Springs is worth a visit and a hike to the waterfalls. "The cabin is modern, cozy, and comfortable. We happened to be there on a day that broke heat records for the area and the house remained quite cool. The house was perfect for 4 adults and 1 toddler to relax and recreate together and apart. The river is gorgeous and you really can hear it from almost every part of the cabin. Only advice: bring ice the first day because the fridge icemaker takes about 24 hours to get going. Such a lovely getaway from the concrete jungle!!"
