My friend and I spent a lovely two nights at Creekside Lodge. We were welcomed by the kind, friendly manager, Todd, who did everything to assure our comfort. Though not luxurious, the rooms were clean and cozy, and we slept so well. It was a little disappointing that our windows looked directly out onto the wall of the restaurant next door, so we had no view at all - but we were there to sleep, not sightsee. The lodge could really use some benches and landscaping around it to be able to enjoy the creek rushing just below the property. There was really no place outside to sit. But we liked our stay there and will return.

Love the hosts
Very accommodating. They notified me of the room number and placed keys in the room so I didn't have to bother with the check in procedure. This might not work is a big city, but for little Markleeville it's really convenient. The only thing I'd fix is the shower head. I like a gentler shower flow, but if that's all I have to complain about they deserve the 5 stars. The mattress is really comfortable and the decor is cute without being overdone.

We checked in late but got a super sweet voicemail from Todd, telling us where the keys are and the food situation. The place is super clean and cozy. We will definitely come back!

Comfortable and quiet.
Very cute little room with decorative touches that were really nice, but not overwhelming. The manager was really sweet, laid back and helpful. The bed was really comfortable and the night time was blissfully quiet even though the Inn is on the main drag. There is a "vending" room that everyone gets a key for and the prepackaged strawberry Belgian waffles are really good.
