“Great location and very comfortable”
We thought the Queen Victoria was excellent and very good value. The restaurant and bar staff were brilliant, though most of the reception staff were not up to the same standard. Probably experience driven as they tried hard. The location is really good, it felt quiet but still only three minutes walk to the V&A Waterfront. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, have good showers (and a bath) and have good attention to detail. All things you would expect from the owner's "5 star" opinion of this hotel. Clientèle were predominantly couples and business travellers. We are a thirty-something couple from London.
“Queen Victoria Cape Town”
This may seem a bit over the top to rate everything 5 but I stay in a lot of hotels as a corporate pilot and this hotel simply has everything right. Not much more I can say.
“Queen Victoria Hotel, Cape Town”
We have just returned from a 12 night stay at the Queen Victoria Hotel in Cape Town and cannot speak highly enough of this wonderful hotel and all staff. Situated in an ideal location to the Waterfront (100 meters) in a quiet courtyard setting. The hotels decor could best be described as contemporary elegance; without any compromise in comfort throughout accommodation and facilities. Standards in customer care are excellent; the staff could not do enough for us, we were really spoiled. We did eat in various restaurants but could not dine better than in the restaurant of this hotel. Frankly, we envy Capetionians who have this restaurant on their door step. Breakfasts were a treat and could be in the restaurant or the adjacent terrace. The pool is at the adjacent Dock House (20 meters across courtyard). Although the pool is small the facilities and service are excellent. We would not hesitate to return to this hotel, should we revisit Cape Town.
“Fantastic place”
What a great place Cool interiors great bar and restaurant The food in Dash would get a Michelin star in the UK all at the same prices as on the Waterfront. The staff were really friendly efficient and helpful. We spent our 25 th anniversary at this place stayed for 9 nights and couldn't have been happier with our choice.
“Hotel staff has to be the best in the world!!!!!”
Definately one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. Wonderful location! The staff was amazing, so helpful & accommodating. They set me up with a wonderful guide, amazing day trips & great restaurants. Ate dinner in the hotel several nights and was blown away by the presentation, taste & selection! Loved the pool & sun bathing area. I really can't say enough about how wonderful the Queen Victoria Hotel is.
“Great place to stay”
Me and my girlfriend stayed here for a week and I don't think we could have found a better hotel. Everyone who worked there was extremely helpful and nice, especially to out of towners like us. The location was also great. We were right next to the V and A waterfront and could walk to everything the waterfront had to offer. Do not hesitate to stay here.
“Seriously Impressed”
a boutique hotel more like a 5 star. Patrick at Reception and Antonio in the restaurant provided top class service. Keep it up.
“Got to be the best small hotel in Cape Town!”
Must say this has got to be our best experience in Cape Town todate! The hotel is done with the pure class and the rooms are amazing. The resturant is unbelievable and we would recommend it to anyone wanting an amazing exclusive experience!
“Beautiful hotel in a beautiful part of Cape Town”
This is a lovely hotel in a great location. It is a few hundred stepd from the V&A Waterfront with bars, restaurants and lots of shopping at your doorstep.
