"The Cavendish is a lovely old hotel. The 100+ year old elevator was especially charming and fun to ride to the higher floors. The check-in area was small, but we didn’t mind. The nightly wine tasting was fun - and complementary."

"I was traveling for a conference, during which I was speaking on several panels and launching a new product for my startup. The conference is a big investment for us to come all the way from San Francisco. The hotel had great reviews and I booked 5 months in advance knowing how busy the season is. I arrived late at night and the first room I was in had an old air conditioner directly over the head of the bed. I woke up with a sinus infection and was quite sick, lost my voice. Moved to a new room with carpet that was really dirty (not the wood floors featured in the photos of the class of room I reserved), well that also made me feel sick and allergic with a scratchy throat and swelling. The people at the front desk ranged from lovely to blasse but obviously the dilapidated state of the hotel is not something they can address. I was not offered any accomodation or even basic sympathy that the hotel made me sick and detrimentally impacted my trip. The view from my room was beautiful but also right next to a very loud roadway, so hard to enjoy any fresh air. This is not the hotel for people who are sensitive to carpet, cats, or old air conditioning."

"Overall, we had a good stay, but the check-in process could definitely be improved. We arrived at 3pm and there was quite a wait to check in, as a lot of guests had arrived at the same time and there was only one person on reception. Unfortunately, even after checking in, our room wasn't ready for another hour. We paid for parking, which was very convenient to have on-site. However, we had to wait for the owner/manager to move her car so we could access the car park, and then again when we were leaving. Her car was blocking access, as she had already needed to move it for the guest ahead of us as well. That said, the receptionist was absolutely lovely and really made the stay. She was friendly, professional and kept apologising for the delays, even though none of it was her fault. She handled everything brilliantly despite being clearly under pressure, and I would happily stay again because of the excellent service she provided. Apart from the issues at check-in, everything else was great. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. We didn't make use of the kitchenette, but it would be very useful for anyone staying longer than one night. Overall, a pleasant stay with a fantastic receptionist, but the arrival process and parking arrangements could be better managed."

"We had such a wonderful time at this B&B. It wad in a unique spot and the views were amazing! The owners were lovely and were very responsive to any needs we had. We had our own private patio and a fresh made breakfast set up and served every morning. It was close to many stores, restaurants and beaches. I would recommend it for anyone visiting this beautiful area in France."

"My second time staying here and I must say again that it's amazing! Rooms are modern, clean and quiet. Beds are comfortable and more importantly so are the pillows. Staff are super helpful, nothing is a problem for them and their communication is top notch. It's worth opting in for the breakfast, very high standard and a beautiful setting with plenty of space. A great little pocket in Cannes, super safe at night, 5 min walk to everything including the Palais and shopping district."

"I rented this for a week during the Cannes film festival and while it was small, had everything I needed as a solo traveler. For a couple it would be tight. The hosts were lovely and shared recommendations. Super close to the Croisette and everything you could want in the neighborhood including a Monoprix and good Indian food for a change of pace. Just uphill from the train station, too."
