We had an awesome time at this resort!! The housekeeping staff are the best and kept our room in immaculate condition. The breakfast and dinner buffets had a ton of options to choose from and everything we tried was really good. The other restaurant options were good as well. The property is beautiful and literally a five minute walk to a beautiful indoor/outdoor mall. The only real complaint we had is that the steak we had at the steakhouse was a bit overcooked but it was seasoned really well. There was quite a bit of seaweed on the beach but that definitely didn’t stop us from going down and enjoying the water. We are looking forward to staying at more of the RIU properties in the future.

we stayed at this resort through the memorial day weekend. the place is nice for the most part and the rooms a beautiful. The resort is geared toward and older population and mainly couples. its central to the hotel zone and right across the street from the mall. while staying at the hotel you have access to two other Rui: Carib and pennisula. The downside of this resort is the food. it is very basic and not to many options. The best resturant is the steakhouse. all in all its a nice place to stay. keep your stuff locked up in your room tho, I heard someones room got broken into

The hotel, staff, food, was excellent Another suggestion- the hotel have entertainment for a short period of time ( we only played lottery 2 rounds) The shuttle included from and to the airport not so good, they are not helpful, they set the time to pick you up and take you to the airport even if is 4 hrs before your flight and doesn’t send you a reminder of the time they choose.

The property itself is nice. My main issue with this was the staff at the check in counter and the food quality. Had food poisoning first night and was afraid to eat any other food from there. Staff at front desk was rude and kept giving us the run around. Waited 4 hours to get my room ready. They spoke Spanish and laughed at us when we went to check on the room status. They didn’t even call the cleaning lady to see if the room was ready or not. When I came back 2 times after that they asked her directly via phone. Front desk manager is very rude.

Great property to stay. We stay 7 nights and it’s was great. Front desk staff was very helpful if you need anything. Thanks for Marisol and Jeny from front desk for your help with my tickets. Rossini Italian restaurant in the property was the best restaurant,great food and staff. Housekeeping was always on their job and overall customer service was great from the bartenders to the bellboys! We will be sure to visit again.
