“Quiet and Comfortable”
The room was beautifully renovated and really comfortable. The only negative comment was that it did not have enough drawer space. The bedside tables were only one drawer each, but a four drawer cabinet would have been better. This probably would not matter with a one night stay, but we were in for four nights and would have liked to be able to completely unpack.
“Recommended”
For a lone traveler the hotel room was a good size. The housekeeping was really good, room was cleaned every day with fresh towels, soap etc and the staff were friendly and helpful. Good location in regard to local supermarkets and easy travel distance to Canberra. A little bit of noise when people used the lift to the second floor and when workers left early for work (perhaps construction workers for short term work in Canberra??). Did not concern me though. Overall I thought it was good value for money.
“Very comfortable and clean.”
Clean, newly refurbished rooms. Comfortable beds, clean linen. Only problem, which is real nit picky is the bathroom fan was automatic (as you turn the lights on) and was really loud. Also, the restaurant isnt open Fri-Sat-Sun nights but opens for breakfast. I can understand it being closed on those nights on a public holiday, but not a standard weekend. For tourists, it's not very helpful.

staff were friendly, dissapointed that there resteraunt does not stay open for dinners on fridays or weekends [breakfast only on w/e]. very central to shops[walking], leagues club 10 min walk away [good meals], parking is a bit tight but manigable. meal prices seemed reasonable but there are plenty of food outlets nearby.
