"We stayed at Painter's for two nights on the way to, and back, from Telegraph Cove. Painter's is a very relaxing place to stay on a busy road trip. It's a little time out to just sit on the fantastic terrace and have a drink or a meal and watch that spectacular view. On our first night, there was a humpback in the inlet and it was a joy to sit, with a glass of wine and some binoculars, and just watch it. The staff and so friendly and helpful, I enjoyed chatting about the gardens and the cruise ships going past. We had sea view rooms both times, it's a great view to wake up to. There's a lovely outdoor pool that, unfortunately, I did not get time to use but maybe next time. Painter's is a lovely, relaxing place to stay, we would recommend it."
