“Would stay again in a new york minute”
Eddie and Julie, the managers, couldn't have been more helpful and courteous.Eddie went out of his way on several occasions to help with arrangements and such and Julie was just a hoot, one of those people you like instantly. The hotel couldn't have been better situated with several very good restaurants in the immediate area and directly overlooking the beach, so we spent time on the spacious balcony relaxing and admiring the view and watching the cockatoos, all in all a very satisfying experience.
“Home away from Home”
What a great place. We travelled with our two boys and had a two bedroom apartment with spa bath and two showers. The living area was huge and the kitchen was stocked with everything you could need - including plastic containers with lids - far more than we've found in other places we've stayed in. The unit was clean, beds were comfortable and everything was well maintained. The pool was great, and with a shade sale over it we didn't have to worry about constantly putting sun block on the kids which was a bonus. It was a great place and I would definitely recommend it. The beach across the street was lovely and our favourite sightseeing trip was Hartleys Creek Crocodile Farm.
“Exceptional - quality in every aspect ...”
Exceeded our highest expectations for quality accommodation, views, location and staff attention & consideration. Staying at the Roydon for 8 nights from 13th December 2009 this was the highlight of our trip to Australia. Spacious, very well appointed accommodation and an exquisitely relaxed atmosphere - a cooling breeze through the apartment, a view of the sea and the gentle sound of the sea lapping Trinity Beach. The on-site management (Eddie & Julie) added such a personal touch to the stay as to make this the perfect location, for not just your first visit to Queensland, but somewhere you would want to return time and again. Ideally located not just for a beach holiday, but for access to Cairns city, the rainforest skyrail, Tablelands, Great Barrier Reef and much more to pack into your stay.
“Enjoyed our stay tremendously!”
We were truly sorry to leave this hotel-like beachfront apartment and the beach on Jan. 19th after having stayed there four nights - we actually had to drive back to the hotel and the beach to take more pictures when we were already on the Cook Highway. We felt so much at home that by leaving there we felt as if we were leaving a home. My son enjoyed the saltwater pool in the yard every day, loved to play with the sands with the tools provided by the hotel for free on the beach that is just 5 meters away. My husband and I loved the every little comfort provided in this home-like apartment, spacious sitting room, beachfront balcony on which we had breakfast, lovely bedrooms with separate bathrooms, free parking - basically everything, and of course, the long, long intoxicating beach where we strolled for hours after sunset. Right, if only there was a high-efficiency exhaust in the nice open kitchen that would allow us Chinese to fry our Chinese dishes :)! But then from my experience I know it's basically impossible in a rent-out apartment in countries like Australia and Canada. Have to say that the furniture isn't the very luxurious kind, but it's convenient and comfortable enough for a vacation. On a whole, we enjoyed our stay there greatly, greatly and would love to go back if there is a chance.
“" Trinty Beach Best Kept Secret""”
Spacious Rooms!! Great Views !! Choice of 2 pools!! Family Friendly !! Close to resturants/shops/playground!! Roydon even has a terrific book/magazine exchange system so even if you forget your favourite book/magazine there is plenty to read whilst sunning down by the pools! Avoid the backbackers and hassle of Cairns!! Holiday with your family at Roydon in Trintiy Beach!!
“Great place - highly recommended”
Great place to stay - apartments are enormous with all the facilities you need. The host Eddie is really friendly and gave great advice about local activities and helped book day trips and solve any problems we had. Loved Trinity Beach - much quieter and more relaxed than Palm Cove or Port Douglas (although they are only up the road so very accessible for day trips). Would also definitely recommend Blue Moon Restaurant for dinner!
“Best place at Trinity Beach”
Roydon and Beachfront apartments (which are run by the same people and next door to each other) are fantastic - genuinely right across the road from the beach. We stayed at Beachfront which is very modern and well maintained - could not fault the quality of the apartment, the location or staff who were very helpful. A very large and well equipped apartment with sea view (well worth the extra cost). The view of the palm trees and Pacific sunrise from our balcony was awesome. Could have stayed for ever!
“A GREAT TIME WANTED TO STAY LONGER”

“Absolute paradise”
We arrived after a gruelling flight from the UK to be welcomed warmly by the owner and his wife - nothing was too much trouble. When we saw our appartment with it's fantastic view over the Coral sea, we couldn't believe it! We thought we were in paradise! Just to sit with a glass of wine, listening to the waves of the Coral sea and watching the sun go down was amazing. We would recommend this place 100%. Lynne and John
“Best Place I've stayed!”
Roydon Beachfront Apartments was one of the most wonderful places I've ever stayed. Close enough to pop into Cairns either by transfer service or the cheap local bus (right next door) the location, directly opposite the beach, is tranquil & peaceful just what you need for a get-away break - either days or a week. The luxury of listening to the waves from my bedroom! Also a smorgasbord of food options within a stone's throw. A basic take away directly next door, all range of restaurants sharing the beachfront from family tavern, italian, thai, pub food or of course seafood. The take away also handy for buying milk, cereal, bread, ice creams etc or a short walk (about 15 mins) was an IGA supermarket which also delivered to Roydon. The apartment itself was extremely spacious, clean and very well set out so that no apartments look at any other apartments. A spa in the main bathroom together with washing machine & dryer, even clothes horses & pegs. Huge cubpoard space in all rooms, an electric safe in the main bedroom, air conditioning throughout, 2 huge TV screens with a huge choice of channels which pleased all ages. A large fully equipped kitchen with "dishwasher" (holiday heaven!). Even a choice of reading books and beach toys if required. The staff - what more can I say, helpful and friendly no matter what time of day, with suggestions if required, couldn't do enough for us. Just a choice of which swimming pool or the beach. I'd be back there tomorrow if I could.
