“Lots of stairs!”

Be aware if you want an ocean view that there is no lift and you could be on the third floor in the building behind gound floor units. Didn't worry us...size of unit great and everything in good working order. Receptionist very obliging. Pools on site small but you can get a key to access larger pool next door.

“Large, residential apartments across from a secluded beach”

We visited during low season and found these apartments to be a great base for exploring the Cairns/Port Douglas area. The units are large and are furnished in individual style - as if you were staying at someone's house - with nice decorations and even books. The furniture and beds were comfortable and the kitchen and laundry facilities were a great bonus as well. We found Trinity Beach to be quiet. There are a few restaurants, but it's a quiet, residential community, so a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle. A great value for the money - would definitely go back next time.

“Excellent property”

This property is a managed apartments. Each apartment has 1 or more separate bedroom(s), kitchen, dishes, washer/dryer, balconies, etc. I find that appartment approach makes a lot of sence for beach vacations. The property is extremely well maintained, extermely clean and right on the water. They even have DVD players in every room.

“Great location and facilities”

This was my second time at On The Beach - in a great location with great facilities. Nothing to fault just great service and comfort and such a reasonable price!! Will be back again :)

“Right on the beach and both comfy and lovely!!!”

My only suggestion is to offer in-room Internet connection. We had a two-bedroom, two-bathroom, suite with a large ocean-view balcony, spacious living room and kitchen, and laundry facilities. It was awesome!

“When I go back (and I will go back), I'll stay here”

The room was immaculate and extremely comfortable. I had an apartment with a view of the Coral Sea, a full kitchen, washer/dryer. Trinity Beach is a wonderful, low-key resort. Modern enough to satisfy the needs of today's traveller but allows you to relax.

“Fantastic Cairns hotel in Trinity Beach”

We just returned from a vacation in Cairns and we stayed 4 nights at the "On the beach" Seashell apartments in Trinity Beach. There were 8 in our extended family group. The 2 lovely apartments faced the ocean and we were thrilled with the ocean views and the beach. The apartments were spacious and comfortable, with 2 bathrooms in each. We used the BBQ poolside on a couple of occassions for family dinners and it worked out great. We initially worried about being so far from the center of Cairns, but we had 2 rental cars, and we didn't miss the busy city bustle at all. There is an IGA a few blocks away and a large supermarket in Smithfield, about 5 km down the road. We have traveled in many places in the world, and Trinity Beach will be amongst the favorite places we have stayed. On-the-beach holiday apartments were perfect for our needs. We will never forget the incredible sunrises from the 2nd story balconey. Highly recommended.

“Awesome Place and Pleasant Staff”

Our family visited On the Beach Holiday Apartments for 6 days during a 20 day trip to Australia from PA, USA. The view from our apartment was so beautiful and relaxing. We enjoyed having enough room for everyone and really had a relaxing time. All the staff were so informative about all the sightseeing tours and they were very personable. We all were very impressed with our stay and would give this resort 5 plus stars which includes the management of the resort. This place was much more than we expected and made our family vacation that much more memorable. Thank You!

To finish our fabulous 3 weeks in Australia, we chose "On the Beach" apartments and were not dissapointed. The view from our rooms looked over the ocean 50yds away. Trinity beach is a small area but had 3 restuarants a shopping centre within walking distance. We would certainly recommend the apartments and hope one day we will return.
