“Very good hotel in BA”

My wife and I stayed at CE Design hotel for three days in February. Our overall impression was very good, and we would happily stay there again. The staff are young, competent and very willing to help. The rooms are clean. The hotel is a converted warehouse, and the walls have been left in the bare concrete of the warehouse, which is quaint. There are rooms at the front of the hotel on a busy street, and there are quieter rooms at the back. Insist on staying in a room at the back. BA life goes on at all hours of the night and you will sleep better at the back.

“The staff is commendable”

The staff here is the highlight. The were very helpful to 2 Americans who didn't know much about Buenos Aires. Some of the staff seemed less interested in helping out, but the handful that interacted with us were excellent. One of them showed us how to drink yerbe mate!

“Interesting name, average experience”

earlier arrival no room available, breakfast still served it was denied to me; but it was authorized for two other ladies. guests should be treated equally, all deserves same treatment and courtesy.

“Uneven staff”

Room very run down, cracks around tub. Some staff (tall thin man) excellent. Some staff could not care less. There were 5 people staying in the hotal my weekend as BA was deserted with people going on vacation. They would not give me a late checkout without my paying for 1/2 day. Why not?? The hotel was empty!
