“Late Sunday check out a great bonus”

A very comfortable& clean place to stay just a short walk to the Brisbane mall, our main destination for the w/e. Don't go expecting a view. The building next door is not that attractive! The room was very clean and comfortable. I loved the thick towels in the bathroom. The staff were all super friendly and helpful - at the door, front desk, restaurant and the lovely lady, Lyn, who cleaned our room. But, the real bonus of the Novotel is the late Sunday check out. It meant that we could spend Sunday enjoying the markets and the mall, then return to our room, freshen up, pack our shopping and head for the airport without having to worry. It really meant a full week-end of enjoyment, not just a day and a bit. Biggest problem: breakfast on Sunday morning. The dining room could not cope with the number of diners. We were apologetically told there was at least a half hour wait (it was 0930) and perhaps we should consider ordering room service, as there were 4 of us, we were not keen on that idea, so we ended going elsewhere. Just as well there was a late check out or we would struggled time-wise.Our pre-paid breakfast was refunded at check-out.

It is good hotel for good price. The quality of service was excellent. The location is also very convinient (10 min walk from Queen Street). I will stay there if I will go to Brisbane again.

Thr staff was extrememly helpful and courteous. The price was very competitive with hotels that didn't offer comparable amenities. We were pleasantly surprised with our clean and comfortable room. I would definately stay there again.

we were given a large corner room which was very quiet and spacious.The staff were very proficient and quick.The location was not very far from the city centre.

The Novotel Brisbane was conveniently located to Queen St Mall and the city which was a bonus for not using the hire car too often. The staff were extremely friendly and the hotel caters fir kids well by including a kids corner and good kids meals in the restaurant. Highly reccomend to families.

Nothing great but comfortable. Within walking distance to city centre. TV in a very uncomfortable location.. No lounge chairs

No feeling for client's needs, service amateurish at checkin with wrong attitude of staff (except bellboy/concierge who was humorous and helpful). Room service disaster, and girl at check-in desk (one with Vuitton scarf) had serious attitude problem. Novotel can do better.
