"We stayed here when my friends/family came to town for an American football game in Dublin. The hosts were super friendly and helpful and the house was very clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed seeing Bray and it was super easy to get up to Dublin via train (and we even went further up the coast to see other fun coastal towns). "

"Amazing friendly and heldpful staff . They had an issue with some of the rooms and we needed to be transferred. They arranged for a free taxi to a nearby staycity and free breakfast for us. Sometimes things go wrong and this hotel showed amazing customer service in how they handled jt, taking awesome care of us and bending over backwards to make things right. "A little gem right off buzzy vibrant Grafton Street, easy walking to everything including Trinity College. Lovely lobby , very helpful friendly staff and excellent communication. "We loved our time here! The taxi driver had a hard time finding it but william sent me detailed instructions before we arrived so i was able to tell the taxi driver how to get to the property. We loved the location. We loved being right by ringsend park. We walked to and from city center every day, it took about 40 mins but we loved it."

Not the comfiest of beds, the bathroom definitely needed an overhaul - broken tiles and the shower screen leaked which turned the floor into puddles. "We were very happy with our stay. Fantastic communication and host very helpful with questions. Apartment is bang in the action and could not be more central. Other reviews said hot water could be an issue but wasn’t and use the boiler button and turn the shower the right way and it’s fine! Be aware it’s noisy late at night but it is in the temple bar! And this was fine for us. Roof top terrace great in warm Weather also. Would return. Thanks"

"Wonderful location in central Dublin - looking out over the Liffey. Beds were comfortable, and lots of room to gather. Amenities are good, with plenty of towels. Would recommend cleaning the throw rugs, which have lots of obvious stains - unbecoming of such a great place to stay. Would recommend."

"The Clayton was very convenient because it offered almost constant shuttle service to and from airport. I hated the comforters on the beds- way too hot and no top sheet used. "I was pleasantly surprised at this property, I have never stayed at a hostel before, simply because I am a mature woman and thought that hostels where just for the young. I really liked that they had different theme nights, I didn’t partake, but I would if I could have. I would definitely stay in this hostel again. I was rooming with younger women and it would have been nicer to be in a room with women who are middle aged, having said that it’s a little difficult to do I am sure!"
