“Nice hotel”
Ir was a very plwant hotel. I would have appreciated chairs in the smoking areas, but that is not a large quibble.

Friendly staff, nice rooms and loverly pool. Great location by the old port.
“Fantastic location”
The hotel is modern but extremely comfortable. There is a pool but the in-room hotel literature does not mention it so you need to ask how to get to it. There are many good quality restaurants nearby but the hotel food is good and the bar service is excellent. This is probably the best location in Marseille. It would be great if the hotel had a shuttle to and from the airport as taxi's are very expensive.
“Highly recommended”
We stayed at the Radisson Marseille for one night for the England/France rugby - a great location with a room overlooking the harbour, central but far enough away from the main bars to be quiet. The hotel has a very contemporary feel, with a funky reception and was immaculately presented. The room (business class, not sure of other room specifications) was fantastic, with flat screen satellite TV, a wonderful nespresso coffee machine and a superb Villory & Boch bathroom with high quality toiletries. A morning trip down to the pool actually meant us getting a lift up from reception to the rooftop complete with sunloungers, shades and towels - a fantastic surprise which had us wishing the stay was longer!

Marseille can be a bit scuzzy. Luckily this hotel doesn't reflect this. The location is perfect as the Old Port is probably the only nice part of Marseille worth considering staying in. It is also just on the back edge of the Old Port so not in the middle of all the hustle. Once inside, the hotel is cool, calm and exceptionally clean. Reception staff are wonderful. The young chap recommended us a wonderful tucked out of the way restaurant, with a beautiful view, that no tourist would ever come across. Not telling you where it is. Many thanks to the Radisson SAS brand.
