“country living”

Very quiet,people walk around and wisper.Tucked away 7klm from Arles.Arrive during daylight or you will never find it.Beautiful semi-common rooms of museum quality.Bedrooms are of good size,all different styles.Gardens are picture worthy,readers paradise.Must be tolerant of animals. Three large,friendly dogs, allowed to hang around your outside breakfast area and a cat that woke us up 2 mornings.Owner speaks English well.

“Nice Hotel, - though breakfast is expensive.”

Nice hotel about 10mins drive from Arles centre (you'll need your own transport). Having a pool was a plus, but the standard rooms are a bit dark. Very friendly staff. Price of buffet breakfast was expensive, and given the hotels location, they have a trapped audience!!

“Disappointing”

The building needs maintenance and repairs. The garden is in terrible condition. The nice photos do not match the real condition of this place. Is fair to say that breakfast is excellent.

Area:

Arles, France: Founded by the Greeks in 600 BC, Arles then became ‘little Rome’. Roman remains include a remarkably intact arena (now used for bullfights), baths, theatre and a vast necropolis.
