“Will definitely be using this hotel again”
This hotel is very convenient for the Exhibition Centre and for the City of Bordeaux. There is another Novotel near the Airport but having stayed in both I would suggest this one as there is less noise.
“Adequate hotel with outdoor pool on the outskirts of Bordeaux”
This hotel is an adequate hotel, but not anything special. Architecturally is a couple of low rise post-War slab blocks with more recent interior refits and a quite modern foyer. The rooms have air conditioning, which is good in summer. You can get there eventually on public transport (tram then bus) if it's not a public holiday.
“Too far from city center”
Hotel itself is good, staff very pleasant and welcoming, room very clean, simply furnished but comfortable. Price is very reasonable, breakfast is good. Check in and out very fast. Perfect for business people but not ideal if you stroll around town after spending your day in meetings at the convention center. Bus 15 takes you to the tram that will take you to town. Trip is about 30 minutes and 1.4 euros. Bordeaux has many cafes and restaurants so if i had to visit next time, i would stay in a hotel closer to the city center.
“Not up to usual standards”
Room was quite tired looking. Service in the restaurant during dinner was terrible with misinformation and forgotten side dishes.
