“Will recommend for adult living not family; service is excellent”
The Customer Service is awesome and all were very polite people - help was always available. Food was ok escept for Americans, the food choice was less for breakfast. Expedia should always ask customer if the Pick up shuttle is available on each hotel recommended. Swimming pool is clean but very small, depth is 6' and Filipinos 5' below and do not swim cannot use or take advantage of this hotel's feature.
“Great place, great staff, good location.”
I had an excellent time at Erus. The staff was extremely pleasant to deal with and always very helpful if I had any questions. It's located along the main road which I found to be a plus rather than a drawback. You can step outside the door get on a trike to D'Mall in no time at all. The walk to the beach is quite short maybe 3 minutes. The rooms are cleaned daily with the staff waiting until you leave the hotel to try and clean, I slept late as I usually had long nights out, but never once was awoken to the noise of "Housekeeping." The breakfast is awesome and the pool is very well maintained. I couldn't have been happier during my stay. I had heard before that the philippines is somewhat notorious for the staff lifting valuables, absolutely not the case at Erus, I left my ipod, laptop, and other valuables sitting out in the open in my room constantly and they were always as I left them. I even left money to tip the maid each day but they would never take the money, maybe that's not really a philippine custom, I eventually began just leaving smaller denominations so they would accept. All in all it was a Great stay I will be back again.
“Nice enough, but a couple blocks off the beach”
The wind rattles the doors at night, and the house lizards are noisey sometimes, but once you get used to that, it's fine.
“Great Value Hotel”
It's not on the beach and I didn't even try to walk it. Take a 5min trike (php50) to D-Mall and walk from there. The hotel itself is small and right off the main street so street noise will be heard from the room. When we first arrived there were many mosquitoes in the room but blasted the AC and they were all gone within an hour. The bathroom was unnecessarily too big which could have made more room for the main room. The power went out a couple times but came back on almost right away so we had to reset the setting for AC and find the channel we were watching again. The free breakfast was surprisingly good. We were on the 3rd floor with no elevators so lugging baggage was a hassle. I would recommend for couples traveling on a budget, not for big groups. I moved to a villa after 2 nights because the rest of my party arrived- 10 total people.

It was definitely a comfortable and hospitable hotel experience. From the time I arrived to the end of my stay, the staff were friendly and helpful, as well as great with keeping my room clean and stocked daily. I also enjoyed the nice continental breakfast they provided every morning there at the hotel, which also included a free dinner that was available as well.

Clean, with helpful staff, this is an ok hotel. On main road but quite close to the beach.

No fridge in the room , no wifi in the room , unless your room is near the concierge where the wifi is located . Don't bother with the free dinner not nice
“Very convenient to white beach and any otherplaces”
Only problem with this place is internet. You cannot get signal in your room. Have to go to the front office area where you don't have A/C
“Not as described but okay”
Great customer service, really friendly and helpful, close to white beach. Room looked nothing like it did in the pictures. Needs a total refurb, grotty finish. Extremly noisy all day and night due to construction work at the hotel which we weren't told about. Didn't like being woken at 7am by drilling. Poor excuse for a balcony which we opened and was very dirty with dead lizards!
