"I received a very friendly welcome. My room was very clean and bed very comfortable. The bedding was white cotton and the towels were large, soft and fluffy. Two free bottles of water were included, plus a kettle with ample coffee and tea sachets and two packets of biscuits. Only things missing in the room were a hairdryer and WiFi password details, which I obtained later from a staff member."

"What a charming place! Our room was above the pub which had good food and drink. Even better, the pub closes at 11 pm every night so it’s quiet for sleeping. The breakfast was very good and the management super friendly and helpful. This place has a long and interesting history which it preserves in its pleasant decor. "
