"We really enjoyed our stay at The Echo Point Motel. The rooms were spacious, clean and modern. The staff were very friendly, check in was seamless. We arrived late after reception hours, I received a text with all the prompts to collect our room key. Lots of parking spaces, and very close to the Echo Point lookout and walking trails. Would definitely stay again. "

"Not needing to check in, i.e. just go to room was convenient. Our motel room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The shower head was loose. Actually, it fell off, but that could easily be fixed. When we went to return our key in the morning the office lady was friendly and helpful. We would stay at this motel again."

"Booked the motel when the UTA trail run was still happening and it was literally the only room in/near Katoomba available. Decided to still spend the weekend after the event was cancelled. The Motel is pretty dire. Ultimately you get what you pay for at $85 a night. It’s situated right between the train line and highway so is super noisy. No staff on site so check in is automated - which is fine except it reeks of a place that can be rented by the hour. And it also actually reeks...damp smell,...

"Comfortable and clean, with almost everything we needed and in an ideal location. We loved the attractive interior and outside deck - and didnt even mind the "cat" quirkiness, though we're generally dog people! All in all, a very enjoyable short stay. Highly recommended."

"This cottage is the perfect weekend getaway to stay at in the season of autumn. We had everything we needed and more, Olwen and her family were lovely and responded quickly to communication. We even had left behind items arranged to be picked up in Sydney thanks to her kindness. A must stay cottage if you are travelling to the mountains this year!"

"We have stayed here 5 years ago and were looking forward to returning. It didn't disappoint! The newly renovated bathroom was a bonus. We just love Dalpura Cottage. It is such a beautiful place and we enjoy the surrounds. Only downfall is we couldn't access the school across for an easier walk to Fort Rock and enjoy the open fire as we had in the past.
