"Comfortable and clean, with almost everything we needed and in an ideal location. We loved the attractive interior and outside deck - and didnt even mind the "cat" quirkiness, though we're generally dog people! All in all, a very enjoyable short stay. Highly recommended."

It is such a beautiful place and we enjoy the surrounds. Only downfall is we couldn't access the school across for an easier walk to Fort Rock and enjoy the open fire as we had in the past. "Blackheath is one of our favourite parts of the Mountains and we enjoyed our few days in the cottage. It is close to great walks and shops. We loved the leafy secure front and back yards for our dog and kids to enjoy. Hosts easy to communicate with and we appreciated the later check-out. Wifi worked well too! "Staying at Madison’s Mountain Retreat was the perfect getaway and experience for my family. We stayed 3 nights and really enjoyed the atmosphere of the grounds. Anne’s warm welcome and knowledge about the animals was excellent and we all enjoyed feeding the Alpacas, Llamas & Goats. The indoor pool was great for a quick swim & we felt nice and cosy in the rustic cabin accommodation which had a lovely view of the alpacas and farm. We will definitely be back. "
