“Best Hotel for Value”
Loved this hotel and I travel extensively
“Top hotel”
I would thoroughly recommend the Kempinski to anyone travelling to Berlin - especially if going shopping. The hotel is on the main shopping street and just a short walk from the main station to all other attractions. Service in the hotel is exemplary, from reception to the pool. A wonderful, leisurely experience.
“Quality, efficient hotel in good location”
Kempinski has the 5 star feeling as soon as you arrive. Very efficient staff, helpful and efficient concierge and very practical, comfortable rooms with plenty of storage. A great location on Ku'Dam amongst the posh shops and an easy bus ride to most major attractions. Buses M29, 200 and 100 got me most places, and the T and S (subway) also close. Zoo station a 5 min walk away, to connect to airport trains and buses. I got a bargain on expedia, with 40% discount. I would definitely stay there again.
“this is a 5* hotel”
a great hotel on a great street.. the only reason we stayed there, we got a great price from expedia. we found a great italian restaurant close to the hotel. the hotel is on a street yhat compares with 5th ave in nyc
“Lovely pool and sauna”
I stayed at the Kempinski with my boyfriend over the weekend and absolutely loved it. The room was very clean and beatifully designed. It was also very easy to get to the airport by bus. The location is central and close to the tube. I particularly loved the large pool and sauna. It was great to relax there after a day of sightseeing in wintery Berlin. There really wasn't anything I didn't like about the Kempinski!
“Brilliant”
Still the most relaxing hotel in Berlin.
“Berlin's Best”
Rooms, staff, and amenities are always great. This trip, the staff recognized that I was not feeling well - travel cold - and went out of their way to make me comfortable.
“As central and good as it gets”
In a city without a real center, the Kempinski Bristol is about as central as it gets in Berlin and a wonderful place for visitors without specific plans in visiting the city. It is surrounded by good restaurants with a wide variety of choices. We tried and enjoyed Italian, Spanish and Northern African food, and sitting in front of the hotel's Reinhard restaurant watching the world go by is also nice. Most important, though, when inside the hotel, service is excellent and readily available to help with English spoken fluently. My wife and I also have a special spot in our memories for the charming and acitve Piano bar. Needless to say, I would recomment this hotel with enthusiasm to any heading to Berlin.
“Great Hotel, Central Location”
We had a great stay here. The staff was very helpful. The room was comfortable, and the windows were heavy duty, so the train noise wasn't a problem. The staff spoke fluent English, and the area was within walking distance of public transportation.
“Can't beat it for the money--a five star hotel at a three star price”
Second time we have stayed here, and loved it both times. One of the great old hotels, but very good deals available on room rates. Lovely library/bar with fireplace and food service--newspapers, high tea; great place to relax in winter after a cold day out. Lots to explore in Kurfurstendam area, and relatively easy to get to East (Ubahn right there, but cabs--not expensive--lined up in front as well).
