“Lovely hotel in a great location.”

The Arcotel John F is a modern hotel in a great location, only a few minutes walk from The Berliner Dom and Museum Island in one direction, and Gendarmenmarkt and Friedrichstrasse in the other. The room was very comfortable and was one the cleanest hotel rooms we have had the pleasure of staying in. Our German is very poor, however all the staff spoke English and were polite and helpful. The Arcotel john F is definitely a hotel we will return to in the future.

“AN EXCELLENT FIND IN BERLIN”

We were very pleased with this hotel esp. with the location. Closed to museums, shopping and great neighborhood. Convenient to public transportation. The hotel employees were very courteous and helpful. I definitely would stay there again if we are in Berlin.

“brand new, stylish hotel in brilliant location”

What a find! Super location in east Berlin, one street away from Unter den Linden, just up the road from Gendarmenmarkt & Nikolaiviertel, only a few minutes walk to the TV tower, cathedral, Museum Island... Brand newhotel, helpful staff, stylish decor, the rocking chair & free apples are nice touches, the hugest headboard I have ever seen, subtle lighting, CD & DVD player, free internet, anything you could want in the minibar, lovely bathroom, I want that sink! One thing if it bothers you - we booked a queen bed, got a twin, & when we questioned this, were told they were mostly like that, we could swap if we wanted, but the queen beds were longer, for tall people, but not as wide as the 2 singles, so we pushed them together and had a huge combined bed.

“Berlin's "Hot pick"”

John F Arcotel is a superbly located hotel for visiting all the main sights of Berlin and the underground is conveniently sited about 150 yds to allow you access to all other areas of Berlin. The hotel is beautifully clean and well appointed, the beds comfortable and the shower excellent too. Our only complaint was that the hotel room was very hot and it did not seem possible to control the heating. However, it is quiet round about the hotel and so opening our window to allow in the fresh, October air was not a problem. Reception staff were extremely pleasant and helpful, as were all other staff that we encountered. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to anyone visiting Berlin. ps - their continental breakfasts were fantastic value too!!Jennif

“Great location, great hotel.”

The Arcotel John F is ideally situated for walking tours of many of Berlin's key attractions, and it's only a couple of blocks from public transit stops. The hotel is bright and clean, and the front desk staff were consistently pleasant and helpful. We even awoke on Christmas morning to find a little gift outside our door.

Modern relaxed hotel in the centrre of old Berlin a shot walk away from the tourist sights and plenty of traditional restaurants. Would suit couples on a city break andf business travellers. very good value for money.

“Cool hotel in a great location”

Really new, modern & clean hotel, fantastically located for most East Berlin's best attractions. Close to Gendarmenmarkt, which is beautiful. 5 minute walk to museum island in one direction with Alexanderplatz and TV Tower only just beyond, 10 minutes to Checkpoint Charlie to the south, 15-20 minutes walk to Brandenburg Gate and Reichstag. First time in Berlin - what a fascinating and cool modern city! Can't recommend this hotel highly enough. Chips cafe/restaurant round the corner does a great breakfast. The U2 line is about 3 minutes walk way at Hausvogteiplatz. Extremely friendly welcome at the front desk with plenty of tips and advice on arrival. Only two (minor) areas of criticism - male bar staff a bit frosty - and a kettle in the room would have been handy for a hot drink. The room had a fridge, a hob, coffee and cups - but nothing to boil water in! Apart from that would definitely stay again. Wet room shower really great.

“Stylish hotel in great location”

Brilliant location for exploring Berlin on foot or bike. The hotel itself is super clean and stylish, with lovely bilingual staff. We flew into Schönefeld airport late on the Friday and it was only 30 Euro cab fare to the hotel. There's a great cafe behind the hotel as well, Chipps - highly recommend! Brilliant breakfast.

“Excellent Hotel - Great Mitte Location”

Great hotel in an excellent location, very close to Brandenburg gate, museum island, tv tower and checkpoint charlie. I would stay here again and certainly recommend friends to stay here. Staff were extremely helpful and spoke excellent english. The breakfast is a little expensive at 20 euros but they have a cheaper alternative in the bar for 7.50 along with good alternatives in the local area.
