The rooms are good but their age is showing. The hotel is very clean. During the stay, there was a water leak somewhere in the hotel and instead of partially cutting off the water supply, they just decided to cut the water supply of the entire hotel, that too without informing the guests. Which was pretty weird and inconvenient.

Great location. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Stored our luggage before and after check in while we explored. Clean comfortable rooms and great decor. Beautiful hotel.

My first visit to Berlin, better for the hotel. My wife and I were there for 8 days, the room was a good size and the bed was extremely comfortable. We liked the warming lamp in the bathroom. We had the traditional German breakfast only once and found BLND coffee shop right across the street that had pretzel bagels with lox, caprese, and avocado (3 differnt choices), muesli with Chia seeds or yogurt, and pastries that we only had a couple of times. There is also a small shop in the same space and we were able to buy mineral water and some German snacks. Dinner at the hotel was delicious, Grace had the Wienerschnitzel and I had an interesting take on pesto with spinach instead of basil. Every one of the staff were fantastic, helpful and personable and engaging. I would recommend Arcotel John F [for JFK] in a heartbeat

This is the quietest hotel that I have ever stayed at in Berlin. Excellent nights sleep and very comfortable. The Staff were excellent, efficient and friendly, particularly the bar staff. The breakfast was varied and tasty. I will look to stay here again in the near future.

The hotel is located next to Museum Island, the Staatsoper, Under Den Linden and near a subway station. Good restaurants nearby. I was impressed with the size of the room and the shower.

Amazing place. Great modern and confortable rooms. Breakfast buffet was really good too. Its in the middle of the “political and economical” area so it may feel a bit lonely at night but super safe area and very walkable to every attraction

Christmas cheer
A lovely base to explore Berlin’s museums and Christmas Markets. Clean and friendly , easy to get to from public transport. Could have done with a fridge in the room.

The hotel must have been nice and dandy a couple of years back, but it's past its prime days. Reception is understaffed and not very helpful. We showed up an hour before check in time, the room wasn't ready yet (which is fine) but rather than preallocating us somewhere, we had to show up at 3 when there was a crazy queue. Another guest commented that such waiting lines are ok at Xmas markets not at the hotel. Amenities in the room are minimal (no vanity set, cheap soap in dispensers, no water, no minibar). There was a spot for fruit which is now replaced by a piece of paper depicting an apple. There is a better hotel in the vicinity, I'll be staying there instead next time

Very conveniently located to all the sites. No much character but Good value. Wish they had USB chargers in the room. You have make sure your converter has enough USBs to charge all the devices.

The staff members greeted us with a friendly smile arrival. Check in was quick and informative. Our hotel room was spacious and clean. The hotel was centrally located and within walking distance of main tourist attractions. We included breakfast with our stay and it was delicious. For diner we walked around the corner to a beautiful Thai restaurant, Good Time, the service and food were amazing. I highly recommend this hotel.

Weekend stay for the marathon
Had a 3-night stay for the Berlin Marathon. The hotel was conveniently located and we appreciated the pasta buffet on Saturday evening. Our room was spacious and quiet. Buffet breakfast was good and lasted for many hours during the weekend was nice. The bar was quiet but the service was fine. Overall, the stay was good.

There are not body lotion and hand soap for the first two day stay, so we thought they do not them at all, but in the last night stay, we were going to live and found body lotion and hand soap in the room.

The good: central quiet area, architecture surrounding the hotel, proximity to major areas, room size, AC. The bad: damaged furniture, dirty/stained walls, dirty door, dirty shower floor. Also had to share the room with a 🕷️. Overall, I wouldn't recommend for this price.

Conveniently located in the heart of Berlin, next to museum island. Many restaurants nearby. No bathtub, only shower. Breakfast OK. My two hotels in Munich (4 stars also) had bathtubs, and at breakfast, a chef was cooking eggs on demand.

I stayed 3 nights then left for one night I stayed outside Berlin. I returned for my last night. Location is fabulous if interested in museums or Stadtsopera. Mitte area is easily walkable to WWII memorials and cafes. Many historical plaques to read and ponder.
