“Convenient Location”
The hotel is conveniently located near Tiananmen Sqaure and Wangfujing Street (both around 15 mins walking distance). Temple of Heaven is like less than 10 mins taxi ride. The service was pretty good like whatever we wanted, room service had provided it within minutes. Mini bar is on the expensive side. The hotel doesn't look all that lavish from the front and neither is it from the inside but its pretty nice for the price that you'll pay. If you pay attention to details, the room isn't that tidy but it's fairly clean. Only negative thing was that when I was standing in the tub, the ceiling was about 2 inches away.
“a very good hotel”
Though the hotel is relatively old, but everything is good, I will choose it again next time
“Centraly located-Good Time”
Hotel was very clean except for tub which had a small amount of mold. Bed was very firm got used to it after two weeks. Restaurants were good, menue was a little strange, Recoment "hot pot" dinner. Not much english understood but we got by.
“5 minute walk to Tiananmen Square”
Leave plenty of time for checkout, as front desk service can be a bit slow, since they have to check your room. The hotel has several restaurants featuring Asian and Western cuisine. There is also a travel agent office on site that is open very late at night. The beds are firm by western standards, but the rooms are spacious and clean.
“Great Location, but little service and no heat in the rooms.”
This hotel is a historic hotel located very close to Tienamin square and the Forbidden City. For this, the hotel scores points. But the front desk staff was untrained at their jobs and did not speak English. Also the hotel room had no heat! We stayed there in the end of October, so it already gets very cold there at night. We were freezing in our beds at night! The hotel is old and has not been updated. The rooms are not super clean. It smells musty upon entering the lobby. You get what you pay for. And this hotel is super cheap. If you don't mind the bells and whistles, then this place is for you. But if you are used to modern luxuries, than skip this one.
“Good Hotel”
Good hotel, you get what you paid. I mean it's clean and has some nice features. The main problem is due to its location (it is close to the Prime Minister house) so there is no taxi, bus or metro near, because it's forbidden, so you've got to walk at least 15 mins to the closest metro station,
“Very Poor Experience”
Feedback already given, but long and arduous task to get the rooms we booked and the condition expected, even then my daughter had to sleep in with my wife and I and at 15, she was not too happy.
“"Rooms need a good clean"”
Hotel is well located and is in a very safe area just a short walk to main attractions the underground train is about a ten minute walk away and is very cheep and easy to get arround. The only let down is the rooms need a good clean it has tea making facilitiesbut you only get 2 tea bags per day and no coffee but the staff were helpfull.
“Breakfast”
I thought U supply the breakfast, but NOT. Evenif I did not check the rules, this is the first time not provide the breakfast, specially in China.
