“Barcelona is expensive”

Nice hotel that is a few minutesw away from other hotels in Barcelona that are 120.00 More per night. If you don't mind a short walk/bus ride to get to the port/Ramblas area, this is the hotel for you.

“Fab Hotel”

Very plush hotel. Friendly and helpful staff and near the metro station. Our room was very clean. I would definitely stay there again.

“Very Impressed”

The hotel was fantastic. Impressive from the moment you walk through the door, it has a really boutique feel to it. The service from the bar staff to the staff on reception was great, they spoke very good English and were nore then happy to help or offer advice on places to go and how to get there. I requested a double room, with a double bed as opposed to two twins, and that request was done and ready for us on arrival. The room was lovely, a good size and very very clean. The layout of the bathroom in the room was not a problem for us. I was very happy to be staying in this hotel compared to the busy and loud area of la Ramblas, having said that it wasn't far to walk into the centre of the shopping district and the port is right at the end of the shopping street. It was a pleasure to stay at this hotel and I would definately recommend it.

“Excellent Hotel!”

This is a friendly hotel, which has very modern decor. Room was large with a good size bathroom and balcony..oh and a massive bed which was not two twins pushed together! Hotel was clean, staff friendly and helpful and bar very reasonable. Location is okay as the hotel is extremley close to the very efficient Metro! Only one stop to Diagonal which has some nice restaurants and shops then there is cataulyna which is also excellent for shops etc! Overall would reccomend this hotel!

Very pleased with this hotel, especially at this price. Very clean, very modern, comfortable room. Hotel staff very helpful and friendly, and all spoke English. within wlking distance of pharmacy, grocery, and restaurants. WE WOULD CERTAINLY RETURN when we visit Barcelona again.

Beautifully decorated and quiet hotel; staff was very helpful and the breakfast buffet was fantastic. If you are looking for a quiet hotel that is a little out of the city centre (a short metro ride away) then you should definitely consider U232.

“Another fantastic Barcelona hotel”

Fantastic location, close to the metro and with it being in a less-touristic area, it is both quieter and the surrounding restaurants and cafes provide fantastic value. The free wifi is a great bonus and very quick. Even when we left the room at 4pm having been absorbed by the Australian Open final, the room was still fully cleaned for when we returned. Neither did they mind when we emptied the mini-bar to put our yummy purchases from La Boqueria in there.Just a shame that we weren't there in warmer times so that we could enjoy the generous balcony. Highly recommended.

“Too good to be true............not this hotel.”

Fabulous value for money. My main two criteria are a good bed and a good shower. The hotel excelled in both areas. We decided to try the breakfast and that too was good value. The barman was friendly but on our last evening Bianca was behind the bar and asked us to order drinks as the bar was closing. This was at 10.40 and it was advertised that it remained open until 11! It appeared she wanted to get away which was a shame as it was a nice relaxing area to sit and relax after a hard days sight seeing in the fabulous city that is Barcelona. I would recommend both the city and the hotel highly and would return myself when possible.
