“Dont Stay!”

very run down in need of complete renovation .Some staff very friendly others including breakfast room staff uncaring and indifferent most mornings food stone cold and have to wait for some one to cook eggs etc while they ate and left you waiting. would I recomend ...no. will never return .Wanted late checkout no problem just pay extra 1400 bht. more than you would pay for an extra night!

“Ripped off for the last time by Royal Ivory”

I had booked and paid for a King Deluxe (thru Expedia) but there were none available and I was allocated a small dilapidated room for the first night. This is the second time I have been ripped off by this hotel and will be the last. The only response available from managment is always "Mai pen rai" which roughly translates to "don't worry about it". No refund was offered.

“Very dissapointing and shabby place”

I opted this hotel by few reviews and description of the hotel but to my dissapointment the hotel was just not upto the mark. Firstly the charge was high whereby I could have gained better deal at a 4 star and a decent one. Cleanliness is to be pointed out. Room we stayed looked quite ok but very small, the nightmare started while sleepin. Should say some kind insects or bacteria that we ended up staying awake whole night scratchin and itchin our body. Pool is so dirty that once cant think of steppin foot in it. We were in thailand for 8 nights. Stay here was our last one and this spoiled our entire trip which we had enjoyed staying in pattaya and phuket. The hotel boasts of close to city and other traditional look, please dont get carried away with all this. In short people can get better deal and stay at hotels near by. I can rate this hotel just a star.
