In great location (5 mins from Sky Train) for exploring Bangkok. Night market in Patpong area adjacent to hotel. Hotel very clean and modern, little impersonal but a refuge when one needs to recover from day's hectic sightseeing in busy Bangkok! Breakfast expensive (many alternatives 2 mins walk away) but evening Thai buffet very good value as are bar meals. Staff very helpful and service orientated. Recommended if can be had for reduced price.

One of the best places I've stayed. The staff were fast, amazingly friendly and helpful. Warned us about the tricks the locals use on tourists, told us where to go, what to do. The room was beautiful, clean and impecable. I could make a fault with the hotel, the overall service and room was better than excellent. I had coffee in the lobby each morning which was good, again the staff were so nice and polite and friendly. Would definetly stay again!

“Great accommodation in suss area”

The area isn't what I would have liked if I had known previously, but the Hotel was fantastic. Not an area for families, more of a singles as its located in the girlie bar area!

Excellent Hotel with lovely staff. Also in a good location to see the sight and sounds ( short taxi ride to grand palace etc). Would definately stay again

A true 5 star experience but be aware the XXX district is right across the street. But this is a near perfect hotel.

5 star service, very friendly and professional staff eager to help with everything always smilling and pleased to help. Fantastick food although , although the old carpets and outdated LCD TVs could be due for an upgrade.

Simply an amazing hotel!!! Too bad location is kind of on the "run-down" part of Bangkok, but very convenient for bargain shopping as it is situated right next to the Patpong Night Market. Overall, a great and stylish hotel!!!!!

“Would stay again and great location for transportation means”

Le Meridian was centrally located between the Sky Train and Subway. It was across the street from PatPong Night Market which was fun and also near the red light district which was interesting but not in a hassle you every minute way. Good restaurants and street vendors nearby. The hotel was superbly furnished, the room handsomely and creatively appointed. (There was a wonderful Thai poem printed in Thai on a screen in our room.) My favorites are: the sliding door between bedroom and bath area, the soaker tub, the closet space with hidden tea kettle and coffee press, and the long flat surfaces for more than two pieces of luggage! Great for long distance and long term travellers!
