“Good hotel in adult area”

The hotel was nice and staff friendly. Bathroom was large with a separate shower and bathtub. Location might be good or bad depending on your tastes. It's close to the girly bars and massage parlors in the Nana Plaza area a block away. Those looking for a family atmosphere might want to try a different hotel.

“Perfect Balance of Location and Service”

top quality hotel in a perfect location: namely on a short, quiet side soi, but close major locations: soi 4, sukhumvit, sky train

“Great rooms for the price”

Great hotel for the price! The hotel has very friendly and helpful staff. The location is in a safe area and is well situated for those that want to go shopping at the new shopping center "Terminal 21". Easy to get anywhere in the city from this location.

“Excellent!”

This was the fourth time that I have stayed at this hotel and found it to be fully up to my expectations. The staff are friendly and courteous, the rooms are large and clean, with excellent fascilities. The only complaint that I could possibly have is the lack of opening windows as living with aircon can cause some people problems! (But having said this I believe that it is down to regulations!!) Overall an excellent hotel and I will be staying again in the near future!

“Nice”

Aside from my shower that was either scalding or cold, the room was great and the hotel staff gracious. Good backstreet location off of Sukhumvit Rd.

“A good choice in a good location”

The Grand Sukhumvit is a nice, 5-star hotel. Maybe not at the top end of 5-star hotels, but it's very good. If you want to be near Sukhumvit Road, this is an excellent choice because it's on a small street a couple hundred meters from all the action (either Nana Road or Sukhumivit Road). The rooms are nothing to get too excited about, but certainly meet the standard of a nice hotel. The gym is good.

“Great location!”

The best thing about this hotel is the location and the proximity to Nana Skytrain terminal. From there it is a short hop to all the shopping districts or down to the ferry for a boat trip to the Old Town. The hotel itself was clean, spacious and the room was luxurious. Down points include: 1) nowhere to hang dresses in the wardrobe without the bottom of the dress being crumpled up. This is despite there being so much other storage space in the room - almost a drawer per sock!! 2) Long queues out to the main road at certain times of the day. Don't get the hotel to call you a taxi if it's busy - just go out to the road yourself 3) Beds very very soft. Lovely if you want to sink into soft pillows and mattress but not great if you have a bad back!! Overall, a great hotel in a great location. Would definitely return!

“Great Hotel”

I have stayed many times in BKK. But this hotel is the best value for money in term of accommodation. Centrally located, just a walk to NANA Sky Train. Fairly quiet location. One thing I did NOT like is to pay $10 AUD for beer and $7 AUD for water. Just 50 meters away is 7/11 store which was my budget saviour!!!! I RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL.

“Central Location”

One of the reasons I booked this hotel was the free upgrade but it took complaining to get it. The hotel tried to say all the upgrades were taken. The suite would be perfect for a family as there is a living room with pull out bed. The hotel is clean, modern with good secuity. Overall it is good value. The pool is shaded all day so not good if you want to lie in the sun. The breakfast buffet is expensive but lots of good food and would be a good start to the day if you have misgivings about eating local food. However if you need western food, go to Siam station and the food floor of the mall there, bottom floor.
