“Great location, good breakfast & a choice of 3 pools”
Our room was in Tower 3 across the road from the main hotel - this was great as we had the best pool (on the roof) and the room was quiet. Breakfast was excellent. We opted for a room which had not yet been upgraded as we wanted 2 beds - it was fine, clean and which heaps of storage space, a little kitchen area and a spacious bathroom. All the facilities of the hotel were available to us so being forty metres across the road was no problem. A good hotel in an excellent location
“Apartment style/ Hotel”
Nice... expecially if you want use of the fridge and cooking appliances. still a nice hotel even if u don't
“Will Return”
This hotel is located on a side street within easy walking distance of the Sky Train. This is a very important feature for getting around Bangkok. It is about a 3 minute walk to Nanna Station. I orginally reserved a Royal Suite, but upon checking and looking at the bedroom decided to request an upgrade as the room appeared smaller in reality than it did on the web. (What hotel room doesn't) After looking at a couple of other rooms, the managment upgraded me to a Grand Suite without any additional charge and it was wonderful. And no I did not make a scene so the upgrade simply reflected their approach to help clients. The Hotel has discreet security and it is very good. For example, you must insert your room key card in the elevator to go to your room. The Grand has three towers. Tower three is across the street so if that is a consideration you may want to ask for Tower one or two. The only downside and this is just a preference was the lack of a seperate shower and bath. It was a nice combo, but I would have preferred both. I am returning to Bangkok in 4 weeks and will stay at the Grand again. One of the best values for your money in the city.
“Only place I'll stay in Bangkok”
This trip was the third time I've stayed at the Grand President in Bangkok. It is in a good location--just walk to the end of the street and you are at the BTS sky train. The rooms are clean with a refrigerator, a good air conditioner which is a must in hot and humid Bangkok plus the breakfast in the hotel restaurant is great. The staff is friendly and accomodating. I'll always stay at the Grand President while in Bangkok.
“wonderful”

“Excellent service and hard working staff”
The hotel staff, food, and service was excellent. The hotel was in close proximity to night life and the transit system.
“Excellent Value for The Money”
This hotel was great. The location was centrally located. It was close to evrything, even walking. The rooms were very clean. this hotel had security 24 hours a day. I felt incredibly safe.
“Home away from Home”
My stay at the grand president was very comfortable. Hotel staff went out of their way to ensure my comfort and safety. Very clean great location 5 min walk to sky train and shopping. limosine service readilly available.
“The one across the road”
It was my second stay in this hotel. On both occasions (this time with this company & before with another well-known company - both good) I have been allocated a room in Tower 3 which is across the road from the reception and breakfast. This is not a problem and tower 3 definitely has the best pool of the three. The rooms can appear a little dark as the windows are between the little kitchen area and the bathroom. The staff were absolutely superb, from the cleaners, to room service (surprisingly good food), to the reception. Breakfast was good too, with an outdoor area for smokers to eat. I didn't get a chance to explore the other two towers but with a gym up by the pool plus two self service washing machines and tumble driers I had more than enough in tower 3! Just a 5 minute walk away from Nana BTS station makes this an ideal base from which to explore the rest of Bangkok. Soi 11 is a lively street with street food vendors and smart restaurants with music for those on a bigger budget than me. The new Terminal 21 shopping mall has just opened one BTS stop down the road at Asok (didn't have chance to visit it this time - maybe another holiday). Going the other way on the BTS, Siam with all it's malls (3 stops) National Stadium (4 stops) for MBK and Jim Thompson's House. Or take the Silom Line for night entertainment at Sala Daeng or on to Saphan Taksin for the Chao Phraya River and a boat up to the Grand Palace. So a great location.
“You could do a lot worse in Bangkok”
This hotel is just fine. The location to skytrain is excellent, there are heaps of restaurants and bars in the street. It's a safe hotel and the security makes you feel like you're being looked after. The taxi drivers to the airport are slightly annoying, they won't use the meter, but apart from that I would recommend it to anyone.
