“Good place to stay for just travel in Bangkok”
Good and nice hotel for travelers. There are many restaurants and shopping malls. Especially there is Nana railway station just within 5 minutes' walk. But if you're looking for more exciting, I'd like to recommend the area near Siam station, 3 stations away from here.
“Very nice”
Very clean rooms and friendly staff-free internet service with 2 computers in the lobby-most places charge for internet access so I thought that was a nice touch. The only drawback I had was the free breakfast buffet was a little weak plus I brought my girlfriend in and for 2 days they charged 500 baht for her having breakfast which was definetly overpriced for just some fruit and juice-other than that excellent place.
“Look forward to staying at Adelphi again”
We chose to stay here from many recommendations read on a travel forum and we're so glad we did. The location is excellent near the Nana skytrain station. The modern 1 bedroom suite is extremely comfortable and clean with everything you need including full size fridge, washing machine AND 2 large TVs! The restaurant on the ground floor is very good and reasonably priced with very friendly staff and the free internet in the lobby was a definite bonus as we didn't take our laptop - wanted to have more room for all that Bangkok shopping! We will definitely book this hotel when we next plan to visit Bangkok.
“Great location of Hotel”
The Hotel is in a great location to visit Bangkok from. The BTS train station (on Sukhumvit Road) is only a few minutes walk away from the hotel. Using the BTS is the best way to travel around Bangkok cause its cheap, clean, safe, efficient and reliable public transport. From here you are only a few minutes ride from retail therapy in the Siam shopping area. If you have to catch the taxi, be wary of drivers offering a fixed price, always ask for the meter to be turned on. Taxi fare one way from the Sukhumvit area to the International airport (using the tollway of $75 baht) should not cost more than $300 baht in total incl tollway fees. A word of advice when shopping at the street stalls and MBK, always barter, as they will always try to fleece all tourists. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful with all your needs. The complimentary breakfast in the restaurant is not bad at all. The rooms are clean and of high standard compared to other hotels of its class. I would definately stay at Adelphi Suites again and recommend this hotel to fellow travellers. The weather in Bangkok in February is very humid. Not for the fain hearted.
“Great Location Good Value For Your Money”
The hotel is in a great location on Soi 8 next to Nana Skytrain which can take you anywhere. Airport Shuttle Bus drop you off on Soi 10. Hotel just open 11/07 so the condition is like new. Hotel suite has nice kitchenette with 2 door refrigerator, stove, microwave, sink and dishes. Room has DVD player, flat panel TV, WIFI and safe. Room decor is Thai Modern and nicely done. Breakfast was included and very nice selection of fruit, salad, drinks, cereal, thai food and cook to order omlette. Swimming pool on the 16th floor and has a great view of the city skyline with nice adjacent exercise equipment room.
“Will use again”
Very impressed also has great view of Bangkok skyline
“Very impressed”
Overall I was very impressed with the service, cleanliness and location. It is literally a 2 min walk from the Skytrain which was great. Staff were very helpful and friendly and the views from the rooftop pool are great. Gym was also very good with great views. I would def use again.
“Bangkok Feb 10”
As per all the other reviews from both this site and others. I was no disappointed, both the service and staff were excellent. I had an executive suite and was more than impressed with both the size and amenities provided.
“English spoken. Great breakfast buffet, nice bar, EXCELLENT ROOM very UPDATED and chic. felt safe”
The pool was on 16th floor and was very quiet - beautiful, super clean and updated work out room not used much. . . I don't know if all of Bangkok is like this area but many "dating couples". . . obscure from the street but very modern and comfortable when you find it. . . I would stay here again for SURE. GOOD INTERNET included and breakfast too. . . good staff. I am not sure it is a family friendly city - a very large city.
