Property Amenities
Independent and family-owned, the Tremont Plaza Hotel has catered to the suite-seeking crowd for more than 20 years. All 300 guest-rooms come with kitchenettes and a cozy-but-elegant décor (think oversized headboards and crisp white linens). The location works equally well for business travelers and eager sightseers: There is more than 45,000 square feet of meeting and event space on site and many of the Inner Harbor's greatest attractions are within walking distance.
Rooms
As downtown's only all-suite hotel, the Tremont Plaza Hotel specializes in the comforts of home. Suites range from 450 to 1,400 square feet (choose from one-bedroom, two-bedroom or studio) and come with free high-speed Internet, kitchenettes (fridge, microwave, sink, toaster, china, flatware, glassware) and a roomy workspace. Elegant touches like extra-tall headboards and massage showerheads accent the plush décor without making it feel overly glam.
Room Amenities
Dining
Choose from three on-site eateries, all of which serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. Grand Café, a French-style brasserie with casual contemporary fare, puts a premium on fresh ingredients. Its menu changes daily and features an assortment of gourmet sandwiches and wraps, as well as homemade pastries and gelato. Tug's Bar and Grille sticks mainly to steak and seafood -- served Chesapeake-style, of course -- and Plaza Deli lures guests with its eclectic sandwich menu.

“Would go back!”
I had a great experience at the Tremont and would definitely go back. The location was convenient to the Inner Harbor, Camden Yards, and museums. I did visit their restaurants and was very satisfied with the food and service staff. On my next visit to Baltimore I would plan to stay at the Tremont.
“Great value”
Hotel Staff was very helpful, courteous and professional. Rooms were a great value for the price. Shuttle Service was good not great. A shuttle comes when available. One the wait was 40 min. Would definitely recommend. Within walking distance of the Inner Harbor
“My husband and I will be back.”
hotel service cleanliness comfort hotel maintenance all excellent most of of hotel staff, they we the best.
“very impressed with the Tremont Plaza”
We were impressed w/ the friendliness of the staff. Everyone was committed to meeting the needs of the guests. the staff wore a button which stated: "We get it". I asked what it meant. the staff person explained that they understood that the guests should be treated like family. They meant it!
“Nice place to stay”
This hotel was a nice safe walk to the Inner Harbor. With shuttle services, it became handy to all the Baltimore attractions. We enjoyed our stay.
“Four stars for the staff ! Large, clean, quiet , modern room.”
I was concerned about staff after reading some reviews. I was amazed. People held door, offered help, offered van ride, everyone I met was friendly and helpful. The room is large, quiet, clean, and modern. Seperate bedroom, living room, eating table, and kitchenette. Located easy 6 block walk to shoreline/aquarium. It is on the same road. Price most reasonable I could find. I was very happy with my stay there and would recommend again. Clerk gave me her favorite reccomendations for dinner. The bell hop watched my luggage while I got car. The bell hop directed me to adjacent parking that was less than any other I saw. Alow 10 minutes to exit long winding up/down. I enjoyed Baltimore more than I expected and this hotel was part of the pleasant experience.
“Your family won't go wrong staying here ...”
My family was surprised by the friendliness of the staff. We were expecting "big city" personalities, but were greeted with smiles and a genuine concern for our comfort. Every staff member was hospitable. Our room was spectacular. The hotel placed us on the 37th floor with a view of the city and harbor. The room was insulated from the noise outside, but the windows could open in case we wanted to listen to the city. The hotel's restaurant catered to our requests. We were provided complimentary transportation to the inner harbor, and the driver even offered to pick us up with a quick phone call. Without a doubt I will recommend the Tremont Plaza Hotel to my friends and family. It's 4-Star quality at a reasonable price, and located close to everything historic Balitmore has to offer.
“Great staff”
When I travel, I like to ask hotel staff other than the congiere for recommendations on places to eat, entertainment, etc. I want to know were they go, what they do. The staff at the Tremont was great. They were friendly, and gave us good information. The restaurants we went to, one recommended by a front desk clerk, and one recommended by a door man, were fabulous. This hotel is several blocks away from the higher-priced hotels closer to the Inner Harbor, and well worth the short walk.
“This place was great!”
This hotel was fabulous. The rooms were huge for the money you paid and the staff was extremely friendly. It was definitely a place I'd go back to when I go to Baltimore next!
“Great All Around”
We were pleasantly surprised of how close the hotel was to Inner Harbor. The brochures and guidebooks had conflicting distances. Due to the discounted price, I assume we got one of the least impressive rooms there and it still was impressive. The suite was huge. the view was great and the service was excellent! We didnt get to enjoy Tug's or the fitness area, but the deli was extremely convenient and the staff was very welcoming! We would definitely stay at the Tremont Plaza again.
