“very far out”
This hotel is ok if you are a. an expert surfer and are just there for surf or b. don't mind to be very far out. This hotel does not seem far from Legian/Kuta on map but is over an hour walking on beach at low tide, at high tide there is a river that you cannot cross. At night and high tide you must taxi to town 10+dollars/way. Internet is only lobby, and soso in rooms, you pay $5/3hrs for internet. Breakfast is ok, do NOT dinner there. If you stay eat dinner at the restaurant with Heineken sponsor right behind the hotel. There is free / fast internet and great food.
“Average accommodation on the beach”
We only stayed one night and chose this hotel because Expedia gave us a good deal and we wanted to be near the beach. The hotel is a bit outdated and it was pretty vacant because it was rainy season. The staff were friendly but the bar and restaurant was limited on their choices. We were able to get to downtown Seminyak easy but it took at least 15-20 min to get there by taxi. They have wifi for a small fee and it is only accessible in the common areas and may reach to some rooms. The bathrooms were clean and modern but the room was very bare and without character. We had to leave very early in the morning to catch a flight from Denpasar and we had asked the front desk, twice, to give us a 5:30am wake up call and to arrange for a taxi at 6am. We didn't receive the wake up call until 6am therefore we almost missed our flight out of Bali. I would not go back to this hotel and think there are other nicer hotels on the beach that are closer to Seminyak.
“I love this place”
This place is wonderful; very relaxing. Beautiful location right on the beach(although not handy for shopping). Staff are very nice; all goos. Can't wait to stay there again.
