“A Home Away from Home.”

Dewani Villa Resort is a lovely place to stay. The staff welcome you and are both friendly and very helpful. One is not distracted by the constant noises of traffic and hooting and you really feel as if you are in another world. It is a great place to relax and if you wish to see the shopping areas of Kuta, Legian and Seminyak...there is a complimentary drop off in Seminyak. Finding one's way back is very easy via a Blue Bird Taxi. The General Manager also organised a vehicle for touring places of interest with a knowledgeable English speaking guide. The cost of the vehicle for 'as long as one wanted' was very competitive.There are good restaurants within walking distance to Dewani where you can eat dinner or lunch at reasonable prices. The included breakfast is substantial and cooked to your liking. We will defintely stay there again when we return to Bali.

“Romantic Dreams come True”

Dewani is a lovely and relaxing -- if slightly out of the way -- dream place. Just a terrific spot for young (or not so young) lovers. The staff is excellent and goes out of its way to a fulfill the quest's every need. Breakfast is included and although its a bit repetitive (eggs, bacon, toast) the banana pancakes are lovely. Amazingly good value. Bottom line -- if you are looking for the party scene this ain't it but if you want a lovely and relaxing visit to an island paradise you can't go wrong with Dewani. Highly recommend both the villa and the drivers they provide -- makes the 20 hour flight from LAX worth it (well, almost).

“Hidden Gem within Bali!”

The staff were amazing, from Samuel who picked us up from the airport, ever smiling, to Joko who asked us everyday how our day was going, to Gin, the manager who greeted all the guests in the morning during breakfast. The staff all knew our names, and made the stay an amazing one. They dropped us off in town as part of the complimentary drop-offs and we were able to use the travel service which partners with the hotel to do sightseeing. Our guide (Kotod) was also amazing. The final day of our stay as we were being driven back to the airport, a scooter pulled up by the van in the pouring rain. Apparently we had forgotten the lock for one of our suitcases, and they sent someone in the RAIN to find the van on the mainroad, just to give it to us. Talk about service! We give the staff all the thumbs up we can give and recommend this hotel for all! Cant wait to return. p.s. the lady who made breakfast was also really nice and also knew our names. Her breakfast was spot on! and she always greeted us with a smile....

“Too good to be true? No!!!”

After reading the reviews of dewani on expedia , and comparing it to the shoeboxes in kuta and such (for the same price) , i showed the girlfriend. after one look at the rooms , she said 'i dont care where it is , book it'. where it is doesn't matter , because the dewani guys drive you into town free. and i liked staying at a villa with a rice paddy next door! service was exemplary , staff super friendly , security 24hrs . the complimentry breakfast was a real breakfast i looked forward to . a big thanks to 'Made'. and by the way , on valentines day we got a small choc cake + rose on our bed , 2 days later it was my birthday , and out they came with a birthday cake , sing happy birthday! none of it arranged by us! no secrets at dewani......... if you cant afford the ritz , you'd better go here! lastly , what ever you do , rent a scooter. the funest thing we did! they deliver it to the villa , you get to practice on the quiet streets around the area. and if you have bali traffic fear (i did) then go on a cruise out to 'tanah lot' temple by the sea. a breezy 30 klm drive on less travelled roads , signage , to a place i might think of as the prettiest temple i saw! oh yeah , met some nice fellow lodgers there too.......

“The perfect stay with exceptional service”

We booked this hotel after looking at the online reviews and were so pleased that we did. It was a peaceful piece of paradise! The room had airconditioning, free WIFI, was cleaned daily and bottled water was provided. The bed had a mosquito net and was super king size. The bathroom is large with a safe to put your personal belongings. The room also has a large outdoor shower (very private) which is a fantastic experience. A TV with over 50 channels is also provided (a number of English channels including movies and popular TV series). The hotel itself has immaculately kept gardens and a lovely swimming pool with beach towels provided. Along with the room you receive a free breakfast which was lovely - a choice of tea or coffee, orange juice, pancakes, croissants, toast, eggs (any way you like - we recommend he cheese omelets and scrambled!) and finished with a plate of fresh fruit. Also if you are around the pool at afternoon tea time you will receive another coffee and a small plate of local snacks. While the Vilas themselves do not have a restaurant there is one (Lestari) 25 metres along the road. We highly recommend it (we ate there 8 times!) it has a range of european style dishes and indonesian dishes - from garlic bread, chicken maryland to nasi goreng. I personally recommend the Swiss chocolate Tolberone mousse! What makes the Dewani Villas is exceotional is the staff and personal attention - you must experience this to believe it!

“Tranquil stay just out of Seminyak”

Just stayed a week out at Dewani Villas and had a very pleasant, relaxing time. Whilst it is a 15mins drive from Seminyak, the Villa offers a complimentary shuttle service in to Seminyak, and it only costs around $2-3 to get a taxi back. On the plus side, it out amongst the rice paddy fields, so noise from traffic/bars is practically non existent (instead there is frogs and geckos :) The pool was clean and refreshing, the rooms ample, air conditioned and comfortable, the staff super friendly (and always around to help) . . . . all up a nice relaxing place to stay. . . and yes, the banana pancakes are amazing, as is the Italian restaurant next door (Lestari). I will definitely stay here again, and would recommend anyone who is after a tranquil place to stay to check it out.

The staff were so friendly and catered for our every need. The drop offs into Seminyak everyday was an added extra. Great place to relax and some top restaurants near by.

“Quiet oasis but still close to the Hub”

Lovely little villa situated 10 minute taxi ride AUD2 from Seminyak. Everything about this villa is excellent, the staff, the service, the rooms, the grounds, the pool. There are couple of restaurants and a good warung 5 mins walking. The staff will happily drive you free of charge to anywhere local if they have a vehicle available.

“We loved Dewani Villa!!!!!!!!”

Dewani was a great place to stay for our first few days in Bali. The room was beautiful, traditional Balinese furniture and detailed decor. We loved everything from the outdoor shower, the apples in the room, our balcony. The pool was great and the landscaped surrounding were well cared for and maintained. The staff was the highlight. We really got to know several of the staff members who were open to sharing about their culture and the great elements of Bali. We enjoyed our daily breakfast and attentive service. Dewani was able to connect us with drivers/guides who took us to the temples of Tanah Lot and Ulu Watu. They have free shuttle service to the town of Seminyak which is nearby...however if you want a quiet, Bali experience Dewani is the place to stay. There is a nearby restaurant "Lestari" that makes homemade pasta which was excellent! Overall I cannot say enough about how enjoyable our stay at Dewani Villa was.
