“What a lovely Resort”
Throughly enjoyed the Ayana Resort, We stayed in a villa room at the Ayana Resort with our own pool, The bathroom was the biggest room ive ever stayed in, it was huge and it also had a his and hers walkin wardrobe, the staff was lovely the grounds were well maintained the whole resort was gorgeous. We also went to the rock bar while we were there, this place is a must especially if your staying at the resort as you get a priority line to the rock bar to see the sunset, it was a beautiful place to sit and have cocktails, The Ayana Resort is a wonderful place to stay if you like peace and quite and away from the hustle and bustle of Kuta but its about 45 mins in a taxi to Kuta. We would love to return one day soon.
“Worth a stay.....”
Ayana delivered as it always does! The cliff pool is the best place to be as the experience is truly exceptional and the employees working at that pool cannot be faulted on their customer service. The rooms however are dated and we did have to ask for a room swap as we didn't have a proper shower in our first room which was the first time this has happened to us at Ayana. I would suggesting requesting an updated room. Rock Bar is also well worth it for sunset and the priority service for hotel guests is a lovely touch. If you are looking to do nothing but sunbake, enjoy great food and drinks and look out to the most beautiful view, then this is the resort for you.
“Absolute Luxury!”
My husband and I stayed at Ayana for our last night of a 12 day holiday to Bali, our only complaint is that we didnt stay there longer. The resort itself was fabulous with breathtaking views, excellent service and great food. Little touches such as being given a rose when leaving the Rock Bar, being involved in the daily demonstration of how to make traditional offerings and having a table reserved at the Kisik Seafood Grill by the waters edge really made our stay memorable for all the right reasons. After we checked our we had a fairly long wait until our flight and so booked into the spa for the Last Day Program inclusing a session in the Aquatonic pool. The perfect end to a perfect holiday!
“Island Paradise”
We were very impressed with this resort from the minute we checked in. The staff are all very friendly and always aim to please. The resort itself is clean and elegant. The food is fantastic and the views, especially the sunsets by the beachside infinity pool are breathtaking! A fantastic resort. We cannot wait to go back!
“absolutley five star!”
Should be rated 6 star! Facilities are top class. World class security as you enter the resort which made us first time visitors to Bali feel very safe.So many restuarants and swimming areas to choose from. All 5 star. Food fabulous. Staff extremly friendly. Free shuttle bus into Kuta was extremly useful. We stayed in a Deluxe ocean view room which was well appointed and exceeded our expectations. If you are going to stay at this resort make sure you are not going to worry about the price you pay for food and beverages as they reflect the five star rating. If you are after absolute luxury away from the hustle and bussle of the main areas of Bali, this is the resort for you. We are a couple with no children and found it very easy to find areas specificly away from the "child friendly" areas. Ocean beach pool and Rock Bar are just two amazing such areas. This resort will not disappoint. If it does you must be very hard to please! Thanks Ayana for a wonderful stay we will return.
“Awesome Rock Bar!”
Amazing rock bar and pool on the side of the cliff. There is a line up every night but you get to go straight down if you are a guest at the hotel. Breakfast buffet has a large variety and it is surrounded by fish ponds. Very peaceful if the children were not around. Unfortunately the children are everywhere and that can be off putting when you are trying to relax. The staff are very attentive and friendly. The grounds are well kept and use to be the old Ritz Cartlon. Very nice place to spend some time to wind down.
“beautiful escape.”
Very nice hotel, kind people, beautiful pool. Excellent food. Shame about the water guzzling golf course (not very eco friendly). Private beach was under construction. Rock bar is amazing.
“Ayana could have done better!! Probably rate it a 7.5/10”
Spent 4 Nights in Jan in Deluxe Room with Ocean View +ves Check-in was smooth. Hotel amenities and views from common areas are great (the bars and pools are fantastic). Breakfast spread was great. Staff was very friendly and always helpful. Taxi available at hotel easily. Free shuttle to Nusa Dua and Kuta (we didnt use it but its certainly helpful). -ves Rooms are dated and need upgrading. Refrigerator in the room had rust stains and water stagnating- expected much better for a 5 star hotel We signed up for deluxe room with ocean view, but the view was hardly there..We had a balcony facing the garden but could hardly see the ocean (I had to zoom in 10X times on my camera to get decent pictures of the ocean). Ordered a cake to surprise my wife (1st Wedding Anniversary). Asked for cake to be delivered at 10PM as we planned to return by 10:30. Was stopped by the room service staff in the hallway at 10:15PM (He said " Room xxxx sir? Can you please sign for cake?") spoiling my wife's surprise!!! Certainly not appreciated as I made it clear while ordering that it was a surprise..
“Ayana - fabulous resort”
Ayana exceeded all our expectations. On arrival at the resort (very late on a hot evening) we were greeted with a lovely refreshing drink and our room was upgraded to the next room type. The resort pools, bars, grounds and restaurants cannot be faulted. It is a spectacular resort with the most friendly and helpful staff that I have ever come accross.
“Beautiful resort but not for those on a budget”
Beautiful resort, with friendly staff, amazing views and spectacular pools, even the buffet breakfast was great. My partner and I wouldn't normally stay in a resort of this caliber due to our financial constraints but we decided to splurge because it was my 30th bday and our 2 year anniversary. Checkin was was fast and easy. They upgraded us to an ocean view room which was beautiful. The only downside was that everything was extremely expensive. Cocktails were $15AUS, it cost $50+ to use the award winning hydro-spa-jacuzzi thing, which was really disappointing. I understand that it's a 5 star resort however it's in Bali where everything is usually pretty inexpensive. It was also annoying that only kids were allowed to use the 2 water-slides. We're kids at heart and we're so excited to go down them only to be told we weren't allowed....But in the end it was a wonderful stay and I would definitely recommend the resort to anyone that's not on a budget!
